As a Purchasing Agent Senior 3, you will be responsible for the functions outlined below:
Essential Functions:
Responsible for demonstrating commitment to and leadership of environmental health and safety principles, policies and procedures.Negotiate purchase orders with suppliers, review order requests (requisitions) and grant approval for purchases, manage and record all purchasing activities from materials and services for Daniel Defense.Helps evaluate and approve suppliers and authorizes purchase orders for material or services.Analyze and monitor changes in materials and supplies to find ways to reduce cost and eliminate waste as well as improve quality.Purchase the highest quality material and services at the lowest possible price based on MRP Demand.Research and evaluate suppliers based on price, quality, service, availability and reliability, utilizing the Approved Supplier List and Supplier Quality Survey process.Analyze price proposals, historical pricing, and other available means to determine price reasonableness including the usage of competitive quoting and cost analysis.Monitor and follow applicable laws and regulations.Negotiate, or renegotiate, and administer purchase orders to suppliers.Work closely with Supplier Quality and suppliers to discuss nonconforming material and services to implement Root Cause Correct Actions.Monitor inventory levels of current stock and work with inventory control group to evaluate the need to accelerate delivery, move to a future date or place additional purchase orders to support MRP demand.Rely on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.May be required to work with Engineering in pursuit of new products, lifecycle changes or product improvement projects.Participates in the company's efforts to continuously improve Safety, 6S, Quality, Delivery and Productivity.Expected to be a contributor to the company standards on high integrity, safety, fair and equitable treatment and a positive work environment.Other responsibilities as deemed appropriate or necessary by management.
Knowledge Skills and Abilities
Bachelor's Degree with concentration in a related area; 4-7 years of related experience or a combination of related experience, education and/or training to sufficiently and successfully perform the essential functions of the job.Work is generally independent and collaborative in nature.Contributes to moderately complex aspects of a project.Has knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices and procedures within a manufacturing environment. Tooling & MRO experience a plus.Teamwork and the ability to cooperate and work proactively with others is a must.Experience coordinating work of production supervision.Strong negotiating skills.Extensive leadership, management and planning skills.Great attention to detail and excellent record keeping skills.Excellent written and oral communication skills.Self-motivated; willing to put in extra effort and hours as needed.Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, set priorities, identify and address problems, meet deadlines, and stay within budget. Competent with computer software such as Microsoft Office (Access, Excel, MS Project, PowerPoint, Publisher, Outlook Word).Minimum of 5 years' experience required working in an ERP/MRP database. Experience managing master data. INFOR experience a plus. Essential Functions:

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Mechanical, Manufacturing or related Engineering major in-progress, minimum GPA of 2.751 year of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.Experience in SolidWorks (3D modeling required; exposure to Mastercam or similar software is a plus.)Basic understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).Exposure to Finite Element Analysis and interpreting results preferred.Knowledge of manufacturing processes, fixtures and gaging systems desirable.Experience with firearms design and implementation a plus.Strong teamwork and communication skills; ability to interact with Executive Leadership, team members, vendors and customers.Self-motivated, independent worker with the ability to manage tasks under deadlinesFirearm experience a plus but not required.

As an ERP System Analyst, you are responsible for supporting, enhancing, and optimizing the organization's ERP ecosystem to ensure seamless business operations across manufacturing, supply chain, finance, and administrative functions. This role collaborates closely with stakeholders to understand business processes, translate requirements into system solutions, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
ERP Administration & Support
Responsible for demonstrating commitment to and leadership of environmental health and safety principles, policies and procedures.Serve as the primary administrator and subject-matter expert for the organization's ERP system (EPICOR, SAP, or NetSuite).Provide daily support for users including troubleshooting, configuration updates, permission management, and resolving system errors.Maintain system integrity, data accuracy, and enforce governance standards within the ERP platform.Develop and maintain documentation for configurations, workflows, procedures, and customizationsConfigure modules, reports, dashboards, workflows, and user interfaces within the ERP system.Support or lead module implementations, upgrades, and new feature rollouts.Work with development teams or external vendors to design and implement customizations or integrations with other systems (MES, WMS, CRM, HRIS, etc.).Conduct testing (unit, integration, UAT) and ensure proper change management procedures are followed.Participates in the company's efforts to continuously improve Safety, 6S, Quality, Delivery and Productivity.Expected to be a contributor to the company standards on high integrity, safety, fair and equitable treatment and a positive work environment.Other responsibilities as deemed appropriate or necessary by management.
Business Process Analysis
Partner with functional teams including production, engineering, purchasing, finance, quality, inventory, and sales to understand and analyze end-to-end business processes.Identify gaps, inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities within existing workflows.Propose and implement solutions that streamline operations and improve data flow, visibility, and reporting.Maintain robust documentation for systems, configurations, and processes.
Reporting & Data Management
Develop and maintain operational and financial reports, dashboards, and KPIs using ERP reporting tools.Support data imports/exports, data cleansing, and migration projects.Ensure proper security, data governance, and audit compliance practices are followed.Training & User Experience
Create and deliver training content, user guides, and documentation for staff across departments.Lead training sessions and provide ongoing coaching for power users and department leads.Promote best practices to improve user adoption and system proficiency.Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Required
B.S. in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a combination of related experience, education and/or training to sufficiently and successfully perform the essential functions of the job.3+ years of hands-on experience with Epicor, SAP, Oracle NetSuite, Infor in an analyst, admin, or support capacity.Experience working in a manufacturing environment with understanding of production workflows, BOMs, routings, inventory management, quality, and MRP/CRP processes.Strong understanding of core ERP modules: manufacturing, supply chain, inventory, finance, production planning, and order management.Experience with SQL for queries, analysis, and reporting.Familiarity with APIs, integrations, and data migration concepts.Experience with ERP reporting tools (SSRS, Crystal Reports, Power BI, NetSuite Saved Searches/Analytics, etc.).Knowledge of system architecture, security roles, and configuration best practices.Travel requirements: Up to 5% of the year. Preferred
Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment with shop-floor systems.Direct experience leading ERP implementations, upgrades, or module rollouts.Experience integrating ERP platforms with MES, WMS, CRM, PLM, or EDI systems.Understanding of Lean manufacturing principles, process mapping, and continuous improvement methodologies.
