The Senior Director of DBS Growth, Global Marketing and Product Management Organization is responsible for promoting and facilitating the successful implementation of the Danaher Business System (DBS) Danaher Business System, enabling our sites to meet their Policy Deployment (PD) and Key Performance Indicator (KPI) targets as well as driving process excellence of marketing and product management teams, for achievement of business goals through development and implementation of relevant commercial tools, cross-functional initiatives, effective use of business analytics and agile performance monitoring. This role will also support the improvement of the DBS organizational structure and the development of the DBS capabilities of the functional and regional leaders across Global Marketing and Product Management. This role will also partner with Medical Scientific Affairs, Value and Access, and the sales organization as part of Cepheid's "four-legged stool." This includes serving as a change facilitator, developing and collaborating with other DBSLs to influence and strengthen DBS in all sites. This position reports to the VP - Global DBS and primarily partners with SVP Marketing and Product Management. We have a strong preference for the candidate to be based in Sunnyvale, CA; however, this is a USA-Remote role. In this role, you will have the opportunity to: * Lead and manage the entire implementation lifecycle of mid to large-scale multi-discipline installations within Clinical Laboratory settings. * Develop and execute instrumentation project plans, ensuring customer readiness and adherence to timelines, budget, and quality standards. * Coordinate and collaborate with various stakeholders, including laboratory directors, engineers, technicians, and vendors to ensure successful project implementation. * Conduct comprehensive assessments of laboratory infrastructure, and readiness requirements to recommend appropriate instrumentation, data management, and automation system solutions timeline * Oversee the procurement and installation of equipment, ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines and industry best practices. The essential requirements of the job include: * B.S. Degree with preference for 5 years of Project Management experience with proven track record in managing projects, and be able to provide examples and project artifacts, ie. Communication Plans, Project Plans, Risk Plans, etc. * Advanced understanding of the Diagnostics or Healthcare Industry with a heavy emphasis on the Laboratory Regulatory environment. * PMP Certification is a plus. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint) and Project Management software such as Smartsheet * Experience reading and interpreting floor plans and design drawings * Willing and able to work out of home-based office and travel around 80% of the time Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements: * Ability to travel Monday-Friday 80% nationally * Must have a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in: * Construction and IT experience in Project Management * Background in Medical Technology and work experience * Familiarity with Standard Laboratory Practices, including Quality Control, record keeping, and regulatory requirements (CAP, CLIA, COLA) Beckman Coulter Diagnostics, a Danaher operating company, offers a broad array of comprehensive, competitive benefit programs that add value to our lives. The annual salary range for this role is $105,000 - $120,000. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting.
