Subspecialty Backup: Oncology/Hematology, General Surgery, Urology, Orthopedic Surgery, CT Surgery, Cardiology, Nephrology, Pulmonology/Critical Care
No coverage for: Neurology, Neurosurgery, IR, GI, ID
Patient Census / Shifts
Day (7a 7p): patients in summer; in winter
Swing (10a 10p): patients weekdays; 6 8 patients weekends (includes consults & transfers)
Night (7p 7a): 4 6 admits/consults per night
Support Staff
1 NP available during rounding
Responsibilities
Rounding, admits, consults, and transfers

Procedures not required
Requirements
Board Certified (or Board Eligible per bylaws/timeline)
Active Kansas medical license required prior to presentation (new insurance law)
Minimum availability: 7 consecutive shifts; preference for up to 10 consecutive shifts
