Responsibilities:
Diagnose and treat acute, episodic or chronic illnessesPrescribe all necessary medications and treatmentsPerform comprehensive physical examinations of patientsDevelop and implement patient management policies and proceduresFacilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals and medical facilitiesCommunicate with collaborating physician or specialist regarding patient careQualifications:
Previous experience in nursing or other medical fieldsAbility to build rapport with patientsAbility to thrive in a rural environmentExcellent written and verbal communication skillsWe are a small family practice with a spa and does hormone replacement. Looking for a Nurse Practitioner for seeing patients in our clinic one day per week to start. We are getting busier and would love to have an additional APRN who is looking for a slower pace to fully meet our patient needs. We offer 45 minute visits with patients who are new to the practice, physicals, hospital discharge follow-ups and Pre-op exams. All the rest of patient visits are 30 min time slots. By having more time with your patients, you will be able to feel confident about not missing something important.
