Responsibilities
Safely operate box trucks on local and over-the-road (OTR) routes, following all FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) regulations and DOT(Department of Transportation) standardsNavigate routes using GPS navigation systems to ensure timely deliveries across designated areasConduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to verify vehicle safety, including checking for hazardous materials compliance if applicableMaintain accurate delivery logs and shipment documentationCommunicate effectively with dispatch teams regarding route updates, delivery status, or any issues encountered during transitEnsure all driving activities comply with FMCSA regulations, DOT regulations, and safety protocols at all times
