Completion of a Millwright apprenticeship or equivalent experience.Own personal tools to complete jobs at hand.Previous experience in industrial maintenance, preferably in coal mining, sawmill, and/or automotive plant environments.Strong welding experience, particularly in MIG, TIG, and Stick welding, with the ability to work with a variety of materials (steel, stainless steel, etc.).Deep understanding of mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and basic electrical systems.Valid driver’s license, Millwright Certification, or equivalent trade qualification required.Ability to work in physically demanding environments, including confined spaces, high elevations, and extreme temperatures. Must be capable of lifting heavy parts and materials as needed.Strong troubleshooting abilities with attention to detail and precision.Must adhere to all safety protocols and always demonstrate a commitment to a safe working environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working in steel mills, sawmills, or automotive manufacturing settings.Familiarity with automation and robotic systems.Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical manuals, and electrical schematics.Experience in the installation and commissioning of heavy machinery. Read Less
