Grimm, Inc. is seeking a Construction Estimator with 3+ years of estimating experience, proficiency in B2W software (Spectrum a plus), and a strong civil/site work/earthwork/concrete background. As a women-owned, full-service civil contractor specializing in Energy Services and Land Development, we partner with leading clients across Texas and the Southwest. This position allows for a combination of working at the office in Navasota, TX, and working from home. Travel to pre-bid meetings and jobsite visits also required.
Daily Responsibilities:
Prepare accurate cost estimates for projects Review and interpret project plans and specifications Collaborate with project managers and engineers Attend pre-bid meetings and site visits Develop and maintain relationships with subcontractors and suppliersRequired Skills:
Civil and Concrete Construction experience Proficiency in Take-offs and Punch Out Lists Knowledge of Submittals and Change Orders Experience in Pre-Construction and Scope Development Strong understanding of Construction Management and BlueprintsNice to Have Skills:
Experience with Bluebeam and Procore software Background in Civil Engineering Ability to manage Project Controls and Construction DocumentationSalary and Benefits:
Minimum Salary: $89,000.00
Maximum Salary: $135,000.00
