    Position Overview
    We are seeking a detail-oriented Case Management Paralegal to support our plaintiff-side personal injury practice. The ideal candidate will manage case files from intake through resolution, ensure timely filings and docket maintenance via PACER/ECF, coordinate discovery and trial logistics, and provide substantive support to attorneys. This role requires strong organizational skills, experience with e-filing systems, and a commitment to client service and case outcomes.

    Key ResponsibilitiesManage and maintain case files in the firms case management system, ensuring accuracy of all documents, deadlines, and client information.Docket and calendar all court deadlines, statutes of limitations, and internal milestones; monitor PACER/ECF for filings and orders.Prepare and electronically file pleadings, motions, notices, and other court documents using ECF/PACER and local e-filing portals.Conduct initial intake and case opening tasks for plaintiff personal injury matters, including conflict checks and client communications.Coordinate and manage discovery activities: prepare RFAs, interrogatories, subpoenas, and responses; organize and label documents for production and trial.Draft correspondence, settlement demand packages, affidavits, and routine legal documents under attorney supervision.Assist attorneys in trial preparation, including exhibit preparation, witness lists, trial binders, and logistics for court appearances.Maintain timely and accurate timekeeping and billing records; assist with vendor invoices and medical record retrievals.Communicate regularly with clients, medical providers, defense counsel, and third-party vendors to move cases forward and resolve outstanding issues.Train and mentor junior paralegals and support staff on case management procedures and e-filing protocols.QualificationsParalegal certificate, Associates degree in paralegal studies, or equivalent legal experience; Bachelors degree preferred.3+ years of paralegal experience in plaintiff personal injury litigation or a related civil litigation practice.Proven experience with case management systems and e-filing platforms, including PACER and federal/local ECF systems.Strong drafting skills with the ability to prepare pleadings, discovery requests/responses, and client correspondence.Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage a high-volume caseload and competing deadlines.Familiarity with medical records retrieval, coding, and summarization for personal injury claims.Proficient with Microsoft Office suite and PDF/document management tools.Professional demeanor with strong verbal and written communication skills and client-service orientation.Ability to travel to court and attend hearings and mediations as required; valid drivers license.Ability to pass a background check and maintain strict client confidentiality. - For this position, you must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship for a non-immigrant visa.
