    Custom Engineering is currently seeking 2nd shift CNC Machinists to operate horizontal boring mills, vertical mills and bridge mills. Up to $28 per hour BOE ($2.00 2nd shift differential).

    Create a set up and remove workpieces from a machine per procedureProficiently use measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, dial indicators and gauges to ensure conformance of specified tolerancesProficient at performing in-process inspections at a machine and adjusting various offsets to ensure conformance of workpieces as requiredPosition and secure workpieces on machines using measuring instruments, holding devices, hand tools, and cranesStudy blueprints, lay outs, sketches, and work orders to determine tolerances and work proceduresProficient knowledge in general machining practicesAbility to recognize tooling types and procedures for machining close tolerances
