Cubitek is expanding its turning department and needs an additional CNC Lathe Operator to support growing production demands. The company currently operates multiple CNC lathes producing precision components for aerospace, defense, and semiconductor customers.
This role is ideal for someone looking to grow their CNC machining career in a modern, high-precision manufacturing environment with opportunities to learn setup and advanced machining skills.
The Work You'll Be Doing
In this role, you will:
Operate CNC lathes producing precision machined components Load and unload parts Perform in-process inspections using measuring tools Verify dimensions against drawings and specifications Monitor machine performance and part quality Make basic offset adjustments as required Work closely with setup machinists and production leadership Maintain a clean and organized work area Follow quality and safety procedures

The company ships approximately 30,000 parts annually and is seeking a hands-on quality professional who can contribute immediately while helping support future growth.
The Work You'll Be Doing
In this role, you will:
Perform first article, in-process, and final inspections Program and operate CMM equipment to verify precision machined components Inspect aerospace, defense, semiconductor, and instrumentation parts Interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, and customer specifications Support AS9100 quality requirements and documentation processes Work closely with machinists, production personnel, and management to resolve quality issues Utilize manual inspection equipment when required Help maintain quality records and inspection reports Review STEP files, drawings, and engineering documentation Support continuous improvement initiatives within the quality department
