Shift: 1st shift (7:00 am to 3:30 pm) with the occasional need to work until 5 pm a couple times a month.
Primary Position Responsibilities & Duties
The primary responsibility for this position is to provide overall engineering and project management services related to implementing changes to Tractor Operations’ manufacturing facilities.
Experience with Manufacturing Engineering, Operations and/or Maintenance is recommended as well as knowledge of Emergency Notification Systems (ENS). This position will plan, coordinate and perform facilities and maintenance work for the facility infrastructure, production equipment and processes of moderate scope. Operates in a team environment. Assigns, coordinates and reviews the work of support and contract personnel.
Some specific duties of this position are:
Coordination, planning, and management of multi-discipline facilities and maintenance-based projects Hot work Requests and Red tag reviews Provides engineering design for the infrastructure for the facility, grounds and production equipment and processes through both internal and external resources using various engineering disciplines. Provides project management of projects related to the facility infrastructure, production machines, equipment and processes that support the manufacturing and/or distribution operation. Projects complexity may integrate several areas of engineering and require limited management of outside design professionals and contractors. Provides troubleshooting of the facility infrastructure and production equipment to support production, manufacturing, distribution and maintenance operations. Provides life, safety and building code analysis and supports and implements programs within the organization to prevent injuries and illnesses. Assists in the identification and resolution of potential environmental, safety, ergonomic and health hazards.o Emphasis on ENS (Emergency Notification Systems), FM Global Insurance coordination, I.T. & network project coordination.
Work with non-mobile material handling equipment application, engineering, and installation. Research market for qualified suppliers of materials and services. Seeks competitive and negotiated sources for materials, equipment and services for maintenance and new construction projects assigned to engineers.Required Skills, Knowledge & Relevant Work Experience
• Experience in project management
• Cross competency experience with either Manufacturing Engineering, Operations Supervision, and/or Maintenance Engineering
• Experience in coordinating multiple skilled trades and contractors to achieve project objectives (5+ years)
• Background in building infrastructure systems (mechanical, electrical, structural) (3+ years)
• Understanding of engineering principles as related to manufacturing operations (3+ years)
• Communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to prioritize multiple active projects simultaneously
• Ability to work with personnel and middle management to communicate and coordinate project activities.
• Knowledge of OSHA Safety standards

We are seeking an experienced Senior Maintenance HVAC Technician to support HVAC and critical environmental control systems within a GMP pharmaceutical/biotechnology manufacturing facility. This position is responsible for maintaining reliable, compliant, and efficient HVAC operations across cleanrooms, laboratories, and production areas while ensuring compliance with FDA, EU GMP, and ISO standards.
The ideal candidate will serve as the HVAC subject matter expert, leading troubleshooting efforts, supporting validation activities, optimizing system performance, mentoring junior technicians, and collaborating with Quality, Engineering, Manufacturing, and EHS teams.
Key Responsibilities
Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on HVAC equipment including: Air Handling Units (AHUs) Chillers Boilers Heat exchangers VAV systems Exhaust systems Dehumidifiers Split systems Maintain cleanroom environmental conditions including: Temperature Humidity Differential pressure Airflow HEPA filtration Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize Building Management Systems (BMS), Environmental Monitoring Systems (EMS), and SCADA platforms. Perform calibration of HVAC sensors including temperature, humidity, pressure, and airflow devices. Support HVAC qualification activities including IQ, OQ, and PQ documentation. Investigate HVAC deviations and environmental excursions using Root Cause Analysis (5 Why, Fishbone) and implement CAPA. Maintain GMP-compliant documentation including maintenance records, SOPs, calibration reports, and work orders. Support FDA and internal audits by maintaining validated HVAC systems and complete maintenance records. Improve HVAC efficiency through energy optimization initiatives, control strategies, and system upgrades. Plan HVAC shutdowns, preventive maintenance, contractor coordination, and capital projects. Ensure compliance with safety procedures including: Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) Confined Space Hot Work Arc Flash EPA refrigerant handling requirements Mentor junior technicians on HVAC troubleshooting, GMP practices, and SOP compliance. Manage spare parts inventory and utilize CMMS for preventive maintenance planning. * Performs revolving assembly operations, which includes all electronic, electro-mechanic and mechanic assemblies or sub-assemblies. * Organizes own hand stock, constantly monitors availability of parts, and chooses appropriate parts or components, according to respective specification.* Uses specific equipment and/or a range of specialized tools, and maintains functionality.* May performs sight checks, functionality or general quality test routines and procedures * Assists in resolving routine manufacturing related problems affecting daily operations. Impacts: In Production: Operates a defined number of related specialized machines and equipment, which may include prescribed CNC programming (i.e., setting parameter) to setup the machines for production program. In Assembly: Incumbent needs to have certain degree of theoretical knowledge and procedural understanding to operate in qualified assembly processes, which includes effective usage of a number of tools and machines during assembly process. Assembly process however still repetitive and routine. Key Responsibilities: Deliver full range service in a defined and focused technical of work, while clear input / output relations and generic and /or work specific guidelines, procedures are given or available. Positions need basic level of theoretical and practical know how, skills and typically some level related years of experience, in specialized processes, techniques and systems used in production environment. In Production: Automated line processing and controlling, or operating with a broader range of production machines in production lines are examples for this level or work. Positions are expected to use specialized machines, tools and equipment for effective performance, which allows specific variances in operation mode. For Assembly workplaces: Work routines are repetitive by nature but may take some seconds to some minutes each.
Experience: 2-year vocational training + up to 1 year experience needed. Knowledge: Basic knowledge and experience of principles, procedures, work routines and skills in the related field of work, gained through structured and focused two-year vocational training period.
