    Description

    This role will act as the lead professional to ensure quality products, providing technical and professional consultation on projects involving survey issues.Primary Responsibilities:Negotiate contracts, prepare proposals, and manage financial and technical aspects of projects, including directing and instructing other field staff.Develop sound Scopes of Work based on clients' requirements.Interpret maps, design and architectural plans, and specifications to effectively complete assignments, including construction stakeouts and surveys.Work with the Survey Division Manager and Director of Marketing to further business development.Pay Range: $72,000 - $104,000 per year, paid weekly, commensurate with experience and qualifications.

    Requirements

    Required Qualifications: A.A.S. degree in Surveying Technology or related field and/or a minimum of seven (7) years of experience with Survey Project Management or combination of education and experience.New York State Professional Land Surveyor (P.L.S.).A thorough knowledge of all types of land surveys.Complete knowledge of the purpose and procedures for field and office work regarding surveys.Ability to effectively use GPS, total stations, and robotic total station survey equipment.Knowledge of and ability to apply Boundary Law while performing boundary surveys.Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.May be required to undergo drug testing as required for specific projects or fingerprinting as required for security clearance purposes.EOE, including disability/veterans.

    Description

    This role will lead all phases of a variety of land development and infrastructure projects including feasibility studies, schematic design, site plan permitting and approvals, construction support, and commissioning. You will collaborate with a team of technical professionals across disciplines on challenging and fulfilling work.Primary Responsibilities:Coordinate with multidiscipline design teams, correspond with clients, consultants, and contractors, and communicate effectively.Lead and produce project designs, including site civil plans, engineering reports, calculations, specifications, construction details, and other technical documents in support of municipal permit packages, and issued-for-bid and issued-for-construction documents.Be proficient in site civil design and permitting, including grading, drainage, stormwater management, erosion and sediment control, utilities, and local municipal and state permit applications.Inspire teamwork through excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with clients, staff, and regulatory authorities.Foster positive, cooperative, and rewarding relationships with clients.Demonstrate leadership in quality control and assurance through the firm's quality management program.Pay Range: $80,000 - $105,000 per year, paid weekly, commensurate with experience and qualifications.

    Requirements

    Requirements:Excellent communication skills.Bachelor's degree (B.S.) in Civil or Environmental Engineering from ABET-accredited four-year college or university.Eight (8+) plus years of progressive related technical experience and/or trainingNew York State Professional Engineer (P.E.).Knowledge of land-use processes and regulations.Proficiency with Microsoft Office.Valid driver's license.Ability to perform limited travel to project sites and C.T. Male offices in upstate New York.Preferred:Experience with Planning Board and public presentations.Experience writing professional proposals including scope of services, project schedules, and fee estimates.Twelve (12+) plus years of consulting engineering experience.Staff management experience.Proficiency with AutoCAD.EOE, including disability/veterans.

    Description

    This role will work as part of an established industrial/institutional environmental regulatory compliance team and support the strategic direction, client interactions, and technical deliverables associated with projects. Help improve the environment, one site at a time, by scoping, implementing, observing, and reporting on sites that require remediation to bring it into compliance, prepare it for development, or simply improve its subsurface conditions.Types of Projects:Our clients include multinational chemical manufacturers, state and local governments, colleges and universities and other institutional organizations. Typical projects include Clean Air Act permitting, air dispersion modeling, hazardous waste auditing/permitting, petroleum and chemical related permitting/inspection/spill plans and SPDES permitting. Remediation related projects may include multi-media site investigation, spill response coordination/documentation, vapor intrusion investigation/design, and small to large scale cleanup projects under various State programs.Pay Range: $56,000 - $63,000 per year, paid weekly, commensurate with experience and qualifications.

    Requirements

    Bachelor's degree in environmental or chemical engineering from an accredited university.Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.A minimal amount of travel within New York State and the Northeast will be required in support of project activities.1 - 2 years relevant post-graduate experience preferred, with related internships a bonus.Experience preparing technical reports is preferred.OSHA 40 Hour training is preferred.OSHA 10 Hour Construction training is preferred.EOE, including disability/veterans.
