Preferred Experience: Certification / Lab Testing experience preferred. Working knowledge of laboratory instrumentation, as well as general laboratory procedures. Knowledge of: U.S. and Canadian based electrical standards and ability to apply these standards to local installation requirements and/or codes (eg. NEC, CEC, NFPA 790 self-starter; good decision-making skills and organizational skills. Technically competent to evaluate all products, including new and unique products, with assistance of other technical staff as necessary. Ability to manage multiple inspection files and changing schedules and deadlines with supervision. Ability to use calibrated measurement instruments, high voltage test equipment, hand tools. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and test data. Excellent communication skills (verbal and written). Strong conflict resolution skills to be able to handle difficult situations. Good command in English language skill written and oral.
