    Position Overview

    The ideal candidate will have experience in selling, winning, and managing airport planning projects, such as master plans and on-call contracts, and serving client needs from small to large scale at both general aviation and commercial service airports. The candidate will also have strong communication skills and understanding of aviation planning, environmental planning, sustainability, land use, facility/terminal planning, and commercial development principles. Experience and understanding of FAA policies and standards with relationships with FAA’s Western Pacific and/or Northwest Mountain Regions and Airports District Office personnel are also important. Specific assignments will depend on the skills of the individual.

    Position Responsibilities

    Position Overview

    We are seeking an experienced Senior Superintendent with a strong background in concrete construction and project management for commercial, industrial, and infrastructure projects in our Syracuse office. This individual will lead all field operations and daily on-site activities, with particular emphasis on supervising concrete work including foundations, slabs-on-grade, structural concrete, and flatwork. The successful candidate must have the knowledge and confidence to engage professionally with design professionals, consultants, and the client while directing subcontractors to safely execute the work per the contract documents, schedule, and budget. This individual will work in partnership with the Project Manager, take ownership of project management functions in the field, and mentor assistant superintendents and field staff. Travel within Central New York is required.

    Position Responsibilities

    Lead the preparation and weekly maintenance of the project schedule, including three-week look-aheads.Review plans and specs; provide constructability input on design, concrete means and methods, and scheduling.Direct all day-to-day site activities; lead and supervise assistant superintendents, field staff, and trades.Complete required daily project field documentation.Plan, supervise, and direct all concrete operations – formwork, reinforcement, embeds and anchor bolts, placement, finishing, and curing including pour plans and cold/hot weather procedures.Maintain good relations and communication with all involved with the project.Schedule and coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and utilities, including concrete suppliers, pumping, and testing agencies.Conduct weekly subcontractor & safety meetingsManage field project administration including RFIs, submittals, change orders, and cost tracking; identify and communicate design errors or omissions.Maintain a clean, safe job site and enforce OSHA and all applicable safety standards.Coordinate independent testing and inspections, including concrete testing per ASTM/ACI; review batch tickets and enforce mix design requirements.Enforce quality control and conformance with contract documents; ensure “as-built” drawings are maintained by all trades.Coordinate all required municipal inspections; prepare and expedite punch lists through closeout.Communicate incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions to a supervisor or the Health and Safety Department immediately.

    Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

    Minimum 15+ years’ experience as a construction superintendent, with significant experience supervising concrete constructionCollege or university degree in construction management, civil engineering, or a related field, or equivalent field experience.Strong ability to read and interpret plans and specs, including structural drawings and reinforcement schedules.In-depth knowledge of concrete means and methods, with working familiarity with ACI standards and ASTM testing requirements.Proven project management skills including RFIs, submittals, change orders, and cost awareness; strong command of CPM scheduling.Proficient in Microsoft Project, Word, and Excel; Procore experience a plus; OSHA 30-Hour and ACI certifications preferred.Excellent organizational, presentation, and interpersonal skills; committed to safety and quality on job sites.

    Position Overview

    The C&S Facilities Group is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join our team in our Tampa office. This is a great opportunity for an individual to help grow our facilities practice. This individual will be responsible for leading projects, performing, and managing technical engineering. The Senior Electrical Engineer will be responsible for delivery of electrical engineering services in a multitude of markets including healthcare, higher education, government, aviation, food service, hospitality, and industrial projects in the Southeastern United States. Successful candidates should have experience and/or education in electrical design for buildings and facilities. This position includes an emphasis on power distribution, lighting, and low-voltage systems design (Commercial, Food Service, Industrial); previous field experience is a plus.

    Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

    Position Overview

    C&S is currently seeking a Senior Project Engineer to join our Fuel Facility team. Location at a C&S office is preferred; however, a remote location is negotiable. Full-Time is Preferred; however, Part-Time is negotiable. The Senior Project Engineer is expected to have good relationships with clients and professionals in the fueling systems industry and will be responsible for generating project opportunities and managing fueling systems projects. In this role, the Senior Project Engineer will work with our multi-disciplinary design team to deliver projects in the aviation, automotive, and related fueling systems markets.

    Position Responsibilities

    Develop effort budgets and schedules for prospective project pursuits.Develop working relationships with existing and prospective clients and professionals.Generate project opportunities.Develop and optimize processes for improved efficiency, sustainability, and cost-effectiveness. Apply advanced problem-solving techniques and tools to enhance process design and operations.Ensure all engineering projects comply with applicable codes, standards, and regulations. Maintain an up-to-date knowledge base of industry standards and government regulations.Implement and oversee quality assurance protocols to maintain the quality of engineering outputs. Analyze potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to prevent accidents and operational failures.Develop P&IDs for, but not limited to: Aviation Fueling Systems, Automotive Fueling Systems, Heating Oil Systems, and Emergency Generator Systems.Communicate effectively with all stakeholders, including management, clients, regulatory bodies, and project teams, ensuring clear and consistent communication regarding project progress and issues.Mentor less experienced engineers and support their professional development.Utilize safe work practices in accordance with federal, state, local, and company standards.Communicate incidents, accidents, near misses, potential hazards, and unsafe working conditions to a supervisor or the Health and Safety Department as soon as identified.

    Skills/Education/Experience

    Minimum bachelor’s degree in mechanical, environmental, or industrial engineering or other similar degree.Minimum 10 years’ experience working on flammable and combustible liquids fueling systems projects.Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred or willing to pursue PE license.Understanding of flammable and combustible liquids engineering principles, methodologies, and tools.Ability to analyze complex engineering problems and develop effective solutions.Comprehensive knowledge of relevant industry standards, safety regulations, and environmental laws.Ability to write sequence of operation processes with P&IDs.Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of effectively articulating technical information to non-technical stakeholders and writing detailed reports.Efficient in; Bluebeam (or other PDF reader), Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Outlook.Preferred experience in; AutoCAD, and/or Revit.

    $120,000 - $140,000/year*
