Functional Responsibilities
Work as part of a larger Program team reporting to contract support ManagerProvide direct support to CORs assigned to Program contractsLead obligation of Program fundsLead procurement package generation and submissionLead development and submission of S1 Memo packagesLead and coordinate evaluation of bids/proposalsSupport contract award and closeoutLead submission of Program communication circuit requirements and track through installationLead execution of selected projects as identified by the Program ManagerTeam with outside agency project leaders to ensure all work is synchronized with Program Goals and ObjectivesPrepare, track and maintain status of all Program acquisition effortsLead development and analysis of recommendations on Program acquisition matters.Support development of annual Program acquisition goals and objectivesSupport Program spend plan development, execution and trackingSupport documentation development for acquisition planning and project management from mission analysis and requirements generation through design, development, production, and deploymentJob Qualifications
BS or BA degree with 15 years’ Government Acquisition experience or an MS degree with 10 years’ Government Acquisition experienceDemonstrated experience with the DHS/CBP Budgeting and Acquisition processActive Department of Homeland Security (DHS) or Customs and Border Protection Public Trust clearanceExcellent written and oral communications skills, including development and presentation of briefings to senior Government personnelSelf-starter capable of supporting senior Government personnel independently, with minimal supervisionLocation
