Primary Care Physician (Internal Medicine or Family Medicine Adults Only)
Salary: $250,000 $260,000/year ($15k sign on bonus!)
Requirements to apply
• Valid, unrestricted California medical license with no pending or prior disciplinary action
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
• Current DEA license and BCLS certification
• Experience providing adult ambulatory primary care
• Knowledge of local, state, and federal clinic regulations (experience with Medi-Cal and other public programs preferred)
Full-time, mission-driven weekday primary care role serving adult patients in a collaborative, community-based setting focused on whole-person care. Our ideal candidate is open to serving as the sole provider at the site, supported by Medical Assistants and a nurse.
Job Overview
The physician will provide comprehensive primary care services, including conducting physical exams, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, developing and managing treatment plans, and monitoring patient progress. This role also includes mentoring student and resident physicians, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, and actively participating in quality improvement initiatives and clinical best practices. Ideal candidates are compassionate, proactive, collaborative, and committed to serving diverse communities.
We utilize EPIC as our EMR system.
The patient load will gradually ramp up, as this will be a new service line at the site. A full panel is anticipated to be approximately 22 patients per day during an 8-hour shift.
This physician will be the sole provider on-site, supported by two Medical Assistants. In addition, there will be two behavioral health clinicians seeing patients at the location.
It is a smaller, close-knit site.
