  • Pricing Analyst Senior

    Security Clearance: Eligible to Obtain a Secret or Greater Primary Responsibilities: Manages the resource estimating process for proposal response to solicitations requiring a Basis of Estimate (BOE) to support proposed resourcing. Position entails working closely with pursuit team technical subject matter experts on a bid by bid basis to effectively facilitate the development and proposal content for staffing solutions in response to complex solicitation requirements. Assess Government solicitation requirements and advise technical pursuit team personnel on the use of industry-standard estimating techniques and methodologies. Performs cost and resource analyses and estimates to support key business initiatives. Supports detailed analysis of individual Government proposal requirements and ensures existence of documentation leading to the creation of detailed resource and cost estimates in a BOE submission. Develops and communicates Estimating requirements in the proposal planning and scheduling process. May contribute to subcontracting strategies and communicates Estimating requirements in the proposal planning and scheduling process. Supports the Estimating Team to ensure compliance with government specifications, firm policies, and procedures. Coordinates estimating project schedules and allocates time to support the efforts of the Pricing & Estimating Group. Researches and organizes baseline resource information for the Estimating Team. Analyzes and reports on inconsistencies and identifies additional, potentially useful, resources to cost for later availability. Recommends new approaches intended to produce more accurate and supportable estimates and BOEs. Develops and maintains analytical tools, estimating methodologies, and explanatory text examples. Ensures updates of relevant financial factors, inflation rates, and financial algorithms within estimating tools. Maintains a system of documentation and review of internal and external comparative resource data. Validates resourcing component of cost exhibit terms and conditions for cost realism. Develops and discusses solicitation questions and recommendations that impact Estimating compliance and strategy. Ensures that all Government and Account team questions Tasks Preformed: On a typical day, a Pricing Analyst: Starts by checking their email and phone messages to respond to time-sensitive messages from clients and vendors. Throughout the day, they evaluate multiple projects, determining the materials and labor needed to complete each project. They get quotes from Vendors and Contractors to make calculations to find out the total estimated cost of a project. Estimators also participate in meetings with Project Leaders and team members to discuss potential risks and budgeting needs. During downtime in their office, Estimators compile reports outlining everything their client needs to complete a project within a set time frame, including the cost. Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience Required Experience: At least 7 years of experience working in the Government contracting environment in a resource and cost estimating capacity Experience documenting, supporting, and defending basis of estimates related to government contract proposals Working Knowledge of DFARS Estimating System Criteria and DCAA DCAM Chapters 5 - Audit of Policies, Procedures, and Internal Controls Relative to Accounting and Management Systems, and 9 - Audit of Cost Estimates and Price Proposals.   • UMCS Drafter (UMCS-012)  

    - Lexington Park

    Security Clearance Required: Secret Clearance Primary Responsibilities: Support test/ship/shore UMCS (Unmanned Carrier Aviation Mission Control System) installation and configuration management. Adhere to documentation/drawing standards, create original templates for use across the test/ship/shore UMCS program, ensure documentation submittal meets established deadlines, and accurately track submission progress. Prepare draft material for internal review by subject matter experts and support final submission review by Navy customer. Create, maintain, coordinate, organize, and manage documentation/drawings inputs for multiple Technical Data Packages (TDPs) in support of design, integration, and testing of UMCS. Support the TDP review and approval process of "as designed" and "as delivered" systems. Required Experience: Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within the field of TDP submission regarding supporting diagrams, specifications, and architectures of UMCS installation planning and system integration. Primary job function will include exercising independent judgment. Work will include general supervision from and working directly with technical leads, project engineers, and program managers. Must be flexible and can adapt to new information and programs. Ability to write in a clear and concise manner, possessing excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must have the ability to research, review, and understand technical information and engineering drawings. Experience with SolidWorks and AutoCAD 2D and 3DExperience working with proposals and contracts at different classification levels are a plus. Education: Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university. JUNIOR: A Junior level person within a labor category has less than 3 years of experience related to the functional duties for that labor category and a BA/BS degree.
