    Job Description

     

    As a Collections Specialist, you will be responsible for handling a combination of inbound and outbound calls while collecting charged off accounts. Establishing an excellent connection with your consumer allows you to positively have an impact on the success of the company. Your enthusiasm for customer service and competitiveness will drive you to success in our fast-paced environment.  You will receive competitive hourly pay and a lucrative bonus structure and be eligible for monthly contests. You must possess excellent communication skills (written and oral) and work independently and in a team environment!

     

    Job Requirements - Candidates should have the following qualifications:

     

    Preferred: Two years of debt collection, sales, or telemarketing experience.Preferred but not required: Knowledge of the FDCPA and other regulations governing debt collections.Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.Exceptional negotiation skills and customer service.Experience with Microsoft Excel and general computer skills.High School diploma or equivalent. Some College Preferred/ but not required.

    Key Responsibilities

    Job Summary

    The Client Representative will play a crucial role in supporting the daily correspondence operations of our office. This role requires excellent communication skills, the ability to multitask, and a positive attitude.     Responsibilities

    Client Representative may do some or all the following:

    Input data into company records and systems.Coordinate with other departments and Credit Control clients to resolve inquiries.Respond to consumer emails promptly using scenario-based templates.Organize, file, and track email, mail and text correspondence.Use confidence in guided decision making to accurately process incoming correspondencePrepare outgoing mail for delivery by creating cover letters and attaching them to account statements.

    Education and Qualifications

    High school diploma required

    Previous experience in the collection industry preferred

    Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures

    Knowledge of computers and relevant software applications

    Must have proficiency with various software applications programs including email messaging, Microsoft Word, and Excel

    Excellent time management and organizational skills

    Excellent oral and written communication skills

    Ability to multitask, and adapt to changing demands and shifting priorities

    Skills Required

    To be successful, a Client Representative must have excellent oral and written communication skills and have a great attention for detail. In addition, time management and multitasking skills are important, as the Client Representative may be given several different tasks at a time.     Collections Representative Responsibilities:

    Handle inbound and outbound calls for past-due accounts.Keeping track of all accounts in your routeNegotiate outstanding debts.Planning a course of action to recover outstanding payments.Handle questions and complaints.Adhere to all local, state, and federal laws governing the debt collection industry.

    Collections Agent Qualifications:

    The Litigation Support Assistant will provide administrative assistance to the Director of Litigation and the Litigation Support Manager. The ideal candidate will demonstrate end-user proficiency in Microsoft Office as well as the ability to consistently and accurately complete the following tasks while maintaining strict confidentiality:

    Document incoming threats, suits, and complaints on the departmental tracker and shared calendarRequest underlying media internally and externally, as directedDemonstrate user proficiency with Microsoft Access to create and update database records with consumer and complaint informationMaintain and update the vendor audit calendar to reflect audit cycles and evidentiary document requests, e.g., COI, SOC, PCI, and similar documents with annual dates of expirationReceive and process update requests to/from clients, as neededRequest reports from internal departments to complete quarterly licensing reports and complete in-state portalsDocument license renewals and provide the requested deliverables, including signatures from executives as requiredDistribute updated license renewal documents for physical and digital license framesComplete license requests for client audits
