Lead Teacher/Assistant Teacher/Floater
We are looking for a Child Care Teacher/Assistant to encourage the healthy intellectual and psychological growth of the children in our facility. You will teach and supervise them while also motivating them to use their mental capacities and exercise their imagination.
Responsibilities
Design and follow a full schedule of activities and discover suitable teaching materialBalance your teaching between logical and social exercisesProvide basic care and caregiving activitiesUse a wide range of teaching methods (stories, media, indoor or outdoor games, drawing etc) to enhance the child’s abilitiesEvaluate children’s performance to make sure they are on the right learning trackRemain in constant communication with parents and update them on the progress of their childrenObserve children’s interactions and promote the spirit of concordIdentify behavioral problems and determine the right course of actionCollaborate with other colleaguesAdhere with teaching standards and safety regulations as established by the official sourcesSkills
Proven experience as a child care / daycare teacher/ Assistant teacherExcellent knowledge of child development and up-to-date education methodsMethodical and creativePatience, flexibility and love for childrenStrong communication and time management skillsCertificate in first aid and CPRPreferred degree in early childhood educationPreferred CDAMust be at least 18 years of ageMust hold an HS diploma or G.E.D.
