    Job Description

    Position: Office & Shop Cleaner
    Location: Truck & Trailer Repair Facility

    Position Summary

    We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented, and hardworking Office & Shop Cleaner to maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment throughout our truck and trailer repair facility. This position is responsible for cleaning office areas, shop bays, restrooms, breakrooms, kitchens, company vehicles, and other common areas while ensuring the facility meets high standards of cleanliness and safety.

    Duties & Responsibilities

    Clean and sanitize office spaces, including desks, floors, windows, doors, and common areas.Clean and maintain shop bays, removing dirt, grease, debris, and other waste to ensure a safe working environment.Sweep, mop, vacuum, and maintain floors throughout the facility.Clean and sanitize restrooms, ensuring supplies are fully stocked.Clean and maintain the employee breakroom and kitchen, including countertops, sinks, appliances, tables, and cabinets.Empty trash bins and recycling containers throughout the facility and transport garbage to designated disposal areas.Collect and dispose of shop waste in accordance with company safety procedures.Clean the interiors and exteriors of company trucks, trailers, and other company vehicles as assigned.Wash shop equipment, tools, and work areas as needed.Replenish cleaning supplies and notify management when inventory is low.Report any maintenance issues, safety hazards, or damaged property to management promptly.Follow all company safety policies and properly use cleaning chemicals and equipment.Assist with special cleaning projects, facility organization, and seasonal cleaning as requested.Maintain a professional attitude while working around office staff, mechanics, drivers, and visitors.Qualifications

    Previous commercial, industrial, or janitorial cleaning experience is preferred but not required.Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting up to 50 lbs., bending, standing, walking, and climbing throughout the workday.Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.Reliable attendance and punctuality.Ability to follow instructions and maintain a safe work environment.Must be authorized to work in the United States.Work Schedule

    Regular Schedule: Monday through FridayHours: 8:00 AM 5:00 PMAdditional Hours: Occasional Saturday work may be required based on operational needs.Work Environment

    This position works in both office and industrial shop environments. The employee will regularly be exposed to dust, dirt, grease, cleaning chemicals, noise, moving vehicles, and changing weather conditions while cleaning outdoor and indoor areas of the facility. Proper personal protective equipment (PPE) must be worn as required by company policy.
