The Work You'll Be Doing
In this role, you will:
Set up and operate OD, ID, and surface grinding machines (manual and CNC) Perform precision grinding on aerospace components Load, run, and adjust CNC programs at the machine Select tooling, grinding media, collets, chucks, and workholding Compute and adjust offsets, taper, and clearances Hold tight tolerances down to 001" (Level I/II) and as tight as 00010" (Level III) Perform first-article and in-process inspection Use micrometers, air gauges, profilometers, and laser micrometers Dress and modify grinding wheels as needed Troubleshoot size, cylindricity, and surface finish issues Collaborate with engineering, quality, and fellow machinists to ensure process control and traceabilityMachines, Controls & Software

The Work You'll Be Doing
