They ensure the production process delivers high quality products in the most profitable manner.This position has responsibility for all operators on the shift in Finishing as well as Quality, Audit, Shipping and Receiving. Schedule: Monday-Thursday 4:00pm-4:00am (plus 8 hours of overtime on another day) Responsibilities Responsibilities: Supervises production employees including completing timecard review for payroll, facilitating all policies and procedures, executing disciplinary action as outlined by policies, actively engaging in the performance review process, deliver timely feedback to team members, and drive efficiency and productivity gains through metrics and accountability Follow all safety policies and procedures including enforcing required PPE, following incident reporting protocol, and completing all required safety training Plans production operations including establishing daily priorities, adapting work schedules Coordinates efforts between shifts to achieve safety, quality, and on-time delivery requirements Follow all quality policies and procedures including enforcing required quality checks and supporting root cause analysis investigations Enforcing compliance requirements including ISO, PCI, state and federal laws, and ensuring the completion of associated employee training Recommends measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, quality of the product and supports the development of standard operation procedures and work instructions Confers with other supervisors to coordinate activities of individual departments Partners with manager and HR to effectively resolve conflict, negate risk and support a positive work environment that encompasses CPIs vision and values Qualifications Requirements Demonstrated commitment to doing the right thing, striving for excellence, staying curious and being a great partner Proficiency with Microsoft Office including Outlook, Excel, and Word Bachelors degree in operations-related field, or equivalent experience Basic math, reading, critical thinking, effective communication and reasoning skills Minimum of 1 year of leadership experience required Elementary English proficiency required. Intermediate English proficiency preferred Qualifications: Demonstrated ability to lead others, directly and indirectly Demonstrated focus and comprehension of production-related metrics Excellent verbal, written, and analytical skills; ability to speak effectively before groups of customers and employees Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists Strong organizational skills Ability to read English and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions and procedure manuals Ability to calculate figures and amounts through the use of addition, subtraction, multiplication, and percentages Physical Demands Ability to be present in the facility and work a minimum of 40 hours per week; Hours are minimum 40 hours per week during companys regular business hours however evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand; ability to be available for all shifts required; Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to focus; Work is in a typical manufacturing environment; prolonged sitting and/or standing required (1-2 hours at a time); ability to move around the facility; climb ladders; crawl under/over; reach; bend; stoop; lifting up to 50 lbs occasionally. The Team Member will examine, count, and record product while maintaining quality control. Responsibilities The Production Team Members are responsible for the tasks in their assigned work area. This may include one or more of the following areas: Stickers, Stuffing, Verifying, Order Pulling, Embossing, Insertion, Metering, Print-on-Demand, PIN Room, FedEx, Warehouse, Fulfillment, or Special Handling. The Production Team Members will be asked to move to various areas based on skills, performance, and business need. Major Responsibilities: Follow all safety policies and procedures. Follow all quality policies and procedures, including following all Standard Operating Procedures (SOP). Maintain expected levels of productivity for the work area. Examine products to verify conformance to quality standards. Accurately count finished products and process orders to client specifications. Follow all compliance requirements, including completing process as instructed/trained. Maintain consistent and reliable attendance aligned with the production schedule. Cross-train and support work areas, as determined by leadership. Work areas could include machine operation, warehouse, order puller, logistics, or verification. Production Team Member Level I 0-2 years of Production Experience Demonstrated ability to achieve proficiency in 2-3 areas of Production Qualifications Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent Ability to work a designated shift and overtime as required, may include time before or after the designated shift and/or weekends; Production experience a plus. Qualifications: Elementary English proficiency communication skills necessary. Ability to work effectively with a diverse workforce and in a diverse environment; Ability to follow processes; Detail-oriented; Willingness to learn and complete a variety of tasks/processes in production; Reliability through good attendance, punctuality and cooperation.
