    SECURITY FIELD SUPERVISOR - Overnights

    Under the general direction of the Operations Manager, the Security Field Supervisor is responsible for providing front‑line leadership, operational oversight, and direct supervision of field security personnel. The Supervisor acts as the first operational response layer within the zone‑based command structure, ensuring consistent staffing, compliance, service quality, and officer performance across all assigned sites. In the absence of, or as directed by, the Operations Manager, this role assumes full responsibility for field decisions, emergency response leadership, incident command, and ensuring service continuity.


    LOCATION: Fort Washington, PA


    SCHEDULE:

    6:00 PM to 6:00 AM - Fixed, rotating schedule with every other weekend off

    Position may require on call status and schedule flexibility as needed


    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES


    1. Leadership & Representation

    Serve as a Cardinal Point ambassador: professionally attired, punctual, engaged, and consistently aligned with company values.Lead field staff with a supportive, positive, and accountable mindset rooted in transformational leadership.Enforce supervisor standards including appearance, conduct, procedural justice, and communication expectations.


    2. Daily Operations & Staffing

    Ensure 100% shift coverage within assigned zone; proactively resolve missed check‑ins, call‑outs, and open posts.Conduct daily schedule verification, DAR reviews, shift handoffs, and operational readiness checks.Match officer skillsets to posts and ensure adherence to uniforms, grooming, and equipment standards.


    3. Field Supervision & Coaching

    Perform field inspections (minimum: 2+ per site weekly) and provide in‑moment coaching and correction.Train officers to ensure mastery of site SOPs, post orders, emergency procedures, and reporting standards.Identify performance issues and apply progressive discipline consistent with company policy.


    4. Incident Response & Command

    Respond immediately to emergencies or unusual occurrences; assume incident command when appropriate. Ensure accurate, complete, and compliant incident reporting following investigative writing standards. Maintain communication with Operations Manager and senior leadership during critical incidents.


    5. Client Interaction & Service Quality

    Maintain visibility across locations; build rapport and ensure service standards are consistently met. Investigate and resolve client concerns, document findings, and escalate appropriately.Conduct weekly client check‑ins and track follow‑up action items.


    6. Compliance, Documentation & Reporting

    Review logs, reports, and officer activity before end of shift; correct deficiencies.Ensure adherence to legal, regulatory, and agency standards (Act 34/114/151/24/126/168, TB, drug testing, weapons policies).Maintain accurate data related to scheduling, inspections, corrective actions, and officer development.


    7. Zone‑Based Operational Accountability

    Support execution of the zone‑based operational model: staffing, compliance, client relations, and scheduling for your assigned zone. Participate in weekly operational meetings and contribute to performance metrics review (vacancy, overtime, IR compliance).


    WORK ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

    Work occurs across diverse environments including schools, commercial sites, and outdoor locations. Supervisors must be able to:Conduct foot and vehicle patrolsLift up to 50 lbs.Run, climb, and respond quickly in emergenciesPerform CPR and intervene in physical altercationsUse defensive tools/weapons per training & policy


    CONDUCT EXPECTATIONS

    Supervisors must model calm, discretion, procedural justice, fairness, and professionalism at all times. Conflict must be handled through tact, de‑escalation, and adherence to SOP and company policy.


    MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

    5+ years security, military, law enforcement, or related supervisory experience. Valid driver's license.Ability to pass drug testing.


    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

    Act 235Concealed Carry Permit (as applicable per site/zone)


    COMPENSATION: $45,000 / year

    Cardinal Point Security Group is hiring a professional School Security Officer for a structured, school-based assignment.


    This is not a warehouse, parking lot, or warm-body post. You will work in a professional environment where your judgment, communication, reliability, and de-escalation skills are respected.


    Position details:


    Start Date: 8/31/26

    Pay: $20.00 per hour

    Location: Philadelphia, PA 19131

    Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM

    School-year assignment

    Occasional after-school or weekend events

    Potential crossover assignments during school breaks, based on availability, performance, and business needs

    Maintain a visible, professional presence throughout the schoolPatrol entrances, hallways, common areas, grounds, and safety hot spotsSupport visitor management and access-control proceduresIdentify suspicious behavior and report concerns earlyUse verbal de-escalation during student, parent, and staff conflictsBuild professional relationships while maintaining clear boundariesRespond calmly during emergencies and critical incidentsCommunicate by radio and write clear, factual incident reportsArrive on time, look sharp, stay engaged, and remain consistent
