We are seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Tax Supervisor with strong interpersonal and communication skills to join our growing CPA firm. In this role, you will lead tax engagement workflows, review complex tax returns, manage client accounting via QuickBooks, and mentor junior staff. This is an ideal position for a seasoned accountant ready to step into a supervisory role while maintaining hands-on involvement with tax preparation and client advisory.
Key Responsibilities
Tax Return Review & Preparation: Prepare and review individual, business, and partnership tax returns (Forms 1040, 1120, 1120-S, and 1065), ensuring full compliance with tax laws and regulations.Client Accounting & Bookkeeping: Manage client financial records using QuickBooks Online and QuickBooks Desktop, including adjusting journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statement assembly.Team Supervision & Review: Review work papers and completed returns prepared by staff accountants, offering constructive feedback, guidance, and quality assurance.Client Communication: Serve as a direct point of contact for clients to gather tax documentation, address accounting inquiries, explain complex tax concepts clearly, and assist with tax planning.Workflow Management: Coordinate team tasks and manage client communication to ensure strict deadlines are met during tax season and throughout the year.Required Qualifications
