    Part-Time Child Care Worker

    Position Summary

    We are seeking a caring and dependable Part-Time Child Care Worker to join our Kids Cove team. This role is more than just providing supervisionits about helping children feel known, loved, and safe while encouraging their spiritual, social, and emotional growth.

    We are currently looking for candidates with availability on:
    - Sundays from 8:30 AM 12:30 PM (with occasional additional hours available)
    AND/OR
    - Mondays from 9:00 AM 12:00 PM


    Key Responsibilities

    Supervise and ensure the safety and well-being of children during church services and ministry events.Engage children in age-appropriate Bible-based activities, games, crafts, and play.Model appropriate behavior and encourage positive social interactions.Assist with check-in, snack time, rest breaks, and transitions.Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming environment.Communicate with parents, guardians, and ministry leaders in a friendly, professional manner.Follow all safety policies, ministry guidelines, and state regulations.

    Qualifications

    High school diploma or equivalent (experience in early childhood care preferred).Previous experience working with children in a church, school, or licensed child care setting is a plus.CPR and First Aid certification (preferred).Ability to pass background checks and meet all child protection standards.Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.A joyful, patient, and nurturing personality.

    Summary

    This person is responsible for the Children's Ministry at River Hills Church. This involves helping children to experience a safe and encouraging environment that provides a place for them to experience God. This position is responsible for the physical and spiritual care of infants through 5th grade. It is based on the concept that the church is responsible for partnering with parents in the spiritual "raising" of their children. This position requires leadership skills as well as the ability to manage relationships within a staff setting and a volunteer environment.

    Title: Maintenance Tech

    Department:Operations

    Reports to: Facility Manager

    FLSA Status: Full Time

    Hours:40 hours per week

    Summary:

    Responsibilities include building maintenance, custodial services, grounds maintenance, security and safety functions for the church on all campuses. Responds to all work requests in a timely and courteous manner. Is tasked by and reports to the Facility Manager. Performs other duties as assigned. Applicant will be required to provide three references and pass a drug test.


    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    CarpentryRepairing doors, windows, floors and other carpentry-related issues.Grounds Maintenance
    Routinely inspect outdoor lighting and informational signs for function and damage; make any repairs as necessary.
    Remove snow and ice from walks and spread ice melt as needed.Landscape when necessary to include weeding, tree trimming, leaf blowing, gutter work and parking lot drain maintenancePaintingPreparing surfaces and painting walls, ceilings, and other areas. May include dry wall repair.Equipment MaintenanceMaintaining and repairing office equipment, furniture, and other facility assets. May include leaf blowers, chainsaws, grounds cart, tractor and lift.ElectricalTroubleshooting electrical issues, replacing light fixtures, and ensuring safety standards are met.PlumbingRepairing leaks (copper, PEX, PVC, CPVC), unclogging drains, maintaining water fixtures, and ensuring proper water supply.HVACMaintaining and repairing HVAC systems, including filter changes, condensate drain maintenance.
