You are the calm in the chaos, the reassuring presence in the crowd, and the professional who ensures safety while delivering high-touch hospitality. As part of our Security team, you'll protect our guests, staff, and property while upholding the legendary Hard Rock experience. Core Responsibilities Patrol hotel grounds, parking areas, hallways, restaurants, event spaces, and back-of-house areas to maintain safety and visibility Respond promptly to disturbances, safety concerns, noise complaints, and guest or staff reports De-escalate difficult situations with professionalism, confidence, and clear communication Escort disruptive or belligerent guests off property when necessary Maintain and secure assigned keys and access points Partner with local law enforcement when needed Escort team members to and from their vehicles Ensure all housekeeping closets and restricted areas remain locked and secure Additional Guest-Facing Responsibilities Assist guests with luggage when needed Support valet operations in the absence of valet staff including parking, securing, and documenting guest vehicles Deliver gracious, guest-focused service at all times Report maintenance concerns promptly Handle lost and found items according to policy Perform additional tasks as assigned based on business needs You're a Rockstar Fit If You Communicate clearly, calmly, and confidently in stressful or evolving situations Know how to de-escalate conflict with professionalism and tact Are comfortable approaching and redirecting guests respectfully Have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record Can drive stick shift and all vehicle types Are reliable, punctual, and committed to consistent attendance Have strong English communication skills Thrive in an energetic, fast-paced luxury hotel environment Physical Requirements Ability to lift or transport at least 50 lbs Ability to push/pull up to 250 lbs Comfortable with extended periods of standing and moving Able to work in various weather conditions Willing to perform repetitive physical tasks Must wear closed-toe, non-skid shoes as required PPE Why Join Hard Rock Hotel San Diego?
