    WHAT'S NEEDED FROM VETERINARY TECHNICIAN?We're looking for someone who can work full-time or part-time between 7:15 am - 6:00 pm while meeting the following qualifications:2+ years of experience working as a Veterinary TechnicianProficient in basic veterinary procedures, including administering medications, placing catheters, surgical/sedation procedures, and taking blood samplesStrong communication skills and the ability to interact with pet owners compassionately and professionallyA passion for working with animals and a commitment to providing high-quality careA degree from an accredited AVMA veterinary technician program (preferred)An active TX license (preferred)If you have these qualities and meet the basic job requirements, we'd love to have you on our team.     QUALIFICATIONSWhile not required, interest in acupuncture or other holistic services would be a plus. The ability to perform orthopedic surgery and advanced ultrasounds would also be a bonus!
