Summary: The Credit Analyst Manager oversees all Credit Analyst functions. They work with a diversified portfolio of loan types and loan requests for current and potential borrowers. They gather and analyze financial data to determine the advisability of granting credit. They use their expertise and leadership skills to lead the Credit Analyst team in thorough research and assessment of credit risk factors and manage their performance and professional development.
Key areas of responsibility:
Financial Analysis:
Analyze current, historical, and projected financial trends and repayment capacity for a variety of operating companies.Research and assess credit risk factors.Recommend loan structure, pricing, and additional credit facilities available for upsell to the lender.Develop alternative solutions to complex credit portfolios.Prepare, spread, and analyze tax returns and a variety of financial statements.Oversee, prepare, and present content and analysis to Loan Officers and Loan Committee for use in making, reviewing, amending, renewing, and extending lending decisions.Leadership:
Maintain an extensive understanding of financial services and industry workflows to mitigate risks and achieve results.Provide leadership and guidance to a team, manage team performance, mitigate risk, and uphold efficient and compliant analysis processes.Communicate clearly and informatively across a diverse audience and present numerical data effectively.Set and manage productivity standards, ensuring Credit Analyst work is completed efficiently and accurately. Adhere to all CorTrust policies and handbooks, complete required security and regulatory training, and maintain customer privacy and confidentialityResponds positively to other duties as assigned.Key competencies:
The ideal candidate for Credit Analyst Manager possesses a combination of education and experience to be able to perform the primary duties of this position with little supervision, managing multiple projects simultaneously. They adapt easily to system, process, product, and service changes, and are able to reason, solve problems and think critically. They must demonstrate a high level of integrity, personal diplomacy, and respect, and be willing to invest in the ongoing mentorship of a team. Knowledge of Federal banking regulations and industry workflow is preferred, and substantial experience in analyzing financial statements and/or tax returns is required. They will champion change through strategic agility, sound judgement, community advocacy, and perseverance in the face of adversity.

Accurately process time-sensitive disclosures according to regulatory requirements and review documents to ensure proper completion and retention.Confidently and courteously communicate with customers and internal partners to resolve issues and respond to inquiries.Process loan denials and loan application withdrawals.Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.Required skills & abilities:

As a Mortgage Loan Originator, incumbents will solidify CorTrust Mortgage as an industry leader by developing relationships and advocating in the community. They will solicit and pre-qualify loan applications, prepare credit application packages, and present requests to underwriting for approval. They will review loan documents and prepare them for closing.
Daily duties for this position:
Advocates in the community to deepen relationships and markets the institution’s loan products.Screens borrower requests from potential applicants, reviews applications for pre-qualification, and issues prequalification letters to customers.Reviews loan applications and effectively communicates with potential borrowers to explain lending parameters and identify which loan programs and terms best fit each customer and situation.Works with borrowers to secure necessary information for loan underwriting and conducts site visits as needed.Prepares and reviews loan application packages according to underwriting policies and presents financial analysis to underwriting for approval.Reviews loan documents, title, appraisal, and survey prior to closing to ensure accuracy.Collaborates with borrowers, title company, and realtor to confirm conditions of funding are met prior to closing and coordinate timing of loan funding.Identifies additional unfilled banking or insurance needs and refers borrowers to Bank partners.Other duties, responsibilities, and activities may be assigned or changed at any time.Required skills & abilities:
