Corteva has an exciting opportunity for an Electrician to join our team at our Rushville, Indiana production facility.
This seasonal schedule provides a significantly better work-life balance than many traditional manufacturing roles-while still offering strong earning opportunities during peak months.
Peak Season (September-March)
During our busy season, the Rushville production site operates a variety of schedules:
1-3 Shifts Per Day8-10 Hour Shifts5-6 Days Per Week with 1-2 Days OffRotating Shifts with a Premium Shift BonusOff Peak Season (April-August)

What You Will Do:
Ensure operation of company equipment including electrical, mechanical, instrumentation, control devices, and HVAC, for process and facilityPerform electrical repairs, service, troubleshooting and scheduled inspections of equipment, following the prescribed guidelines and procedures.Review and assist program leaders and teams with the electrical safety program to ensure adherence and compliance.Adhere to all quality systems & safety procedures including environmental regulations, OSHA, PSM, and Corteva's safety procedures in everyday work routine.Make recommendations for improved safety through electrical programs and/or process changes including the addition of new devices, and hardware.Various other duties as assigned.Education:
You have a high school diploma or equivalent.What Skills You Need:

What You'll Do:
Support plant operations.Deliver maintenance support for capital projects.Maintain condition of the plant shop and maintenance tools.Support Process Safety Management and location safety efforts.Conduct seasonal prep work including annual preventative maintenance, repairs, and improvements.Assure proper set-up, calibration, operation, and preventative maintenance of equipment, machines, and facilities.Lead, assist and complete grounds and facility maintenance as needed.Utilize predictive maintenance tools to detect and remedy future machine failures.Create, continually update and train preventative maintenance plans for various equipment.Complete fabrication projects to improve plant processes.Maintain detailed equipment records and prints.Plan and schedule maintenance work for the location.Maintain Enterprise Asset Management system: ensure work order quality, PM plans, and provide user training/support, etc.Analyze metrics to improve uptime, reduce costs and maintain quality data.Order parts for equipment and kit to coincide with scheduled maintenance activities.Lead efforts to improve maintenance effectiveness.Work with vendors and contractors to safely and effectively complete work.Prepare, schedule and gather data for weekly strategic planning meeting with operations.Other duties as assigned.Education:

In this position, you will utilize your electrical skills to perform high-level electrical and mechanical installation as well as maintenance of facilities, field and plant equipment. This critical work directly affects safety, function, longevity and overall operation of electrical and mechanical equipment at the plant.

You have an Oregon Limited Maintenance Electrician (LME) or Journeymen License or licensing with a reciprocal state (Arkansas, Idaho, Montana, Utah, Washington or Wyoming).You have previous electrical experience with voltages ranging from 24v to 480v 3 phase.You are willing and able to perform the physical aspects of this job which include but are not necessarily limited to; climb/work in elevated areas; sit/stand for extended periods; work in a variety of conditions (heat, cold, wet, etc.); repetitive motion and are able to lift up to 50 lbs. with or without reasonable accommodation.You have a valid US driver's license so that you are able to drive company vehicles as needed.You have great problem solving, conflict resolution, communication (both written and verbal) and teamwork skills.You have good computer skills including Microsoft Office (i.e., Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).You are knowledgeable and experienced with control systems.You are knowledgeable and understand electrical panels and how to troubleshoot.You are well practiced at reading and comprehending blueprints.You are willing and able to work Monday thru Thursday 10 hour day shift and overtime when needed to support business needs.What Makes You Stand Out:
