    This seasonal schedule provides a significantly better work-life balance than many traditional manufacturing roles-while still offering strong earning opportunities during peak months.

    Peak Season (September-March)

    During our busy season, the Rushville production site operates a variety of schedules:

    1-3 Shifts Per Day8-10 Hour Shifts5-6 Days Per Week with 1-2 Days OffRotating Shifts with a Premium Shift Bonus

    Off Peak Season (April-August)
    When production slows, schedules transition to:

    8 Hour Day ShiftsOccasional Overtime, as Needed

    What You Will Do:

    Ensure operation of company equipment including electrical, mechanical, instrumentation, control devices, and HVAC, for process and facilityPerform electrical repairs, service, troubleshooting and scheduled inspections of equipment, following the prescribed guidelines and procedures.Review and assist program leaders and teams with the electrical safety program to ensure adherence and compliance.Adhere to all quality systems & safety procedures including environmental regulations, OSHA, PSM, and Corteva's safety procedures in everyday work routine.Make recommendations for improved safety through electrical programs and/or process changes including the addition of new devices, and hardware.Various other duties as assigned.

    Education:

    You have a high school diploma or equivalent.

    What Skills You Need:

    We have an exciting opportunity at our seed corn production location at our Fremont, IA location for an Area Team Lead. In this position, you will oversee a staff of production employees and coordinate internal and external resources to ensure safe and smooth operations.

    What You'll Do:

    Communicate up and down the line to ensure that communications to and from team members are accurate and complete. Support the oversight of conditioning, bagging, bulk load out, and warehousing operation to maximize material flow and process efficiencies. Maintain, monitor and ensure adherence to standard work and standards in operational areas around housekeeping, safety, attendance, operational discipline, process safety management, and operator maintenance. Monitor product quality for consistent compliance with the Quality Plan requirements. Understand and support the process of order activity. Drive forward planning; ensuring workforce, equipment and materials are ready and available for the next process order, next shift, etc. Assist in managing bulk and bagged seed inventories as well as product movement activities. Provide input and assistance to supervisors as needed for capital projects, focused improvement events, workforce planning and development scheduling. Ensure appropriate records, documents, and reports are completed as assigned. Support continuous improvement and special projects as assigned. Work as a production technician as needed to fulfill operational needs. Assume the duty of the shift supervisor for the shift in their absence. Various other duties as assigned.

    Education:

    You have a high school diploma/GED.

    What Skills You Need:

    You have 2 years of on-the-job experience in manufacturing, operations, production, agriculture, or a related field. You can work with all team members effectively since you have good communication and interpersonal skills. You work with technologies well; you can use and train on automation and digital-based systems, you are knowledgeable of computer systems such as Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) and other software programs and can use them effectively. Chilly warehouse? Dusty environment? No problem! You love to get out there and be in the heart of operations with your team and work hard! You always are willing to help and physical work isn't a problem for you Passing by a team member struggling to lift something? Safety is your top priority, and you are willing and able to lift up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodations to help your colleague and/or perform necessary job tasks!     We have an exciting opportunity at our seed corn production location in Rushville, Indiana for a Team Lead. In this position, you will oversee a staff of production employees and coordinate internal and external resources to ensure safe and smooth operations.

    The Rushville production location operates various production schedules during peak season, which runs September through March each year. These schedules may include one to four rotating shifts consisting of 8-, 10- or 12-hour workdays.

    During off-peak months, April through August, the site staggers down to an 8-hour day shift schedule with occasional overtime when needed. This provides a much better work-life balance than other manufacturing roles and opportunities!

    WHAT YOU WILL DO:

    Model Safety as the number one focus!Communicate up and down the line to ensure that communications to and from team members are accurate and completeSupport the oversight of harvest, sorting, receiving, shelling, drying, bulk load out, conditioning, bagging, and warehousing operations to maximize material flow and process efficiencies.Maintain, monitor, and ensure adherence to standard work and standards in operational areas around housekeeping, safety, attendance, operational discipline, process safety management, and operator maintenanceMonitor product quality for consistent compliance with the Quality Plan requirements.Understand and support the process of order activityDrive forward planning; ensuring workforce, equipment and materials are ready and available for the next process order, next shift, etc.Assist in managing bulk and bagged seed inventories as well as product movement activities.Provide input and assistance as needed for capital projects, focused improvement events, workforce planning and development schedulingEnsure appropriate records, documents, and reports are completed as assignedSupport continuous improvement and special projects assignedWork as a production technician as neededAssume operational leadership of assigned shiftsVarious other duties as assigned

    EDUCATION:
