Summary:
This Material Handler position is primarily responsible for verifying stock for accuracy as it comes back from production, correcting and identifying losses; ensuring safe operations of powered industrial equipment and maintaining an organized layout and safe work environment.
Job Responsibilities:
Read, understand and follow instructions listed on reports/pick sheetsCheck and add all materials listed on pick sheetsPrecisely weigh materials from production areas to be put back into stockFollow QC sampling proceduresReport QC deviationsExecute all required transactions on terminal software and handheld scannersPull & return material in approved locations in warehousesFollow ISO9001, GMP and HACCP proceduresResponsible for inventory record accuracy of 95% or greaterOther duties as necessaryJob Requirements:
High School, equivalent or degree in related field preferred3+ years' experience in Shipping, Receiving and Logistics & TransportationBar-code experienceForklift (standup) experienceBasic math skillsBasic computer skills, (Word and Excel)Self-motivated & commitment to continuous improvementPhysical Demands:

Must have One to Two years' experience in hotel maintenanceComplete minor work orders such as replacing ceiling tiles, filters, light bulbs, patching vinyl, painting, repairs to pipelines, toilets, sinks kitchen and laundry equipmentEnsure that the assigned equipment is prepared and operational for the following day's work. He/She will refurbish furniture and fixtures within guest rooms such as cabinets, tables, chairs, doors, windows and counters and paint and finish furniture and fixtures in guest roomsThey will maintain the front entrance area, parking lot and/or garage, and street entrance in a clean and presentable manner and maintain the safety and cleanliness of the exterior of the facility, grounds, pool and exercise/sport facilities (including property signs and lighting).Follow procedures that ensure the security of inventory and assets such as tools, supplies, equipment, furniture, televisionsReplenish supplies and inventory in a timely and efficient manner and minimizes waste.May assist with other duties.Qualifications:
Requirements include basic reading, writing and math skills and 1 or more year(s) of general building maintenance and repair experience. Completion of a high school diploma or related vocational training is preferred. This job requires ability to perform the following: carrying, lifting pushing and/or pulling items weighing up to 100-300 pounds; frequently standing up and moving about the facility, frequently handling objects and equipment to maintain the facility, and frequently bending, stooping, kneeling, climbing and crawling.Payments: Weekly Payment
Availability: Monday to Sunday from Monday to Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and weekends from 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Two days off during the week.
