    Job DescriptionJob DescriptionCornerstone Family Practice & Urgent Care is seeking an experienced, dependable, and highly organized Medical Receptionist for a busy outpatient practice. We are looking for a serious applicant who is professional, detail-oriented, patient-centered, and able to think critically in a fast-paced healthcare environment. 

    The role is essential to the patient experience and daily office flow. The right candidate must be able to manage front desk responsibilities with accuracy, professionalism, sound judgment, and consistency. We are seeking someone who is observant, reliable, able to prioritize, and committed to doing quality work.

     

    Responsibilities:

    Answer phones promptly, professionally, and courteouslyGreet and check in patients with accuracy and professionalismSchedule appointments correctly based on office workflowVerify demographics, insurance, and contact information carefullyCollect copays and balances accuratelyDocument and route messages in a timely and accurate mannerScan and upload documents into the electronic medical recordsMaintain HIPAA compliance and patient confidentialityCommunicate clearly with patients, staff, and providerSupport an efficient, organized, and professional front officePerform other duties as assigned.Qualifications:
