    The Position

    The Cytology Lab assistant prepares and processes all cytology samples received. The assistant must be prepared for accession cases, perform grossing, know all procedures involving cytology processing and document pertinent quality control information from the area.

    Responsibilities

    Receive, accession and label pathology and clinical specimens into the Laboratory Information System. Apply cytopreparation methods to process cytology specimens.Separate aliquots for molecular testing from cytology samples.Operate and troubleshoot laboratory instruments and equipment.Perform routine preventive or corrective maintenance.Utilize and maintain cytological stains, reagents, and chemicals, including their preparation, storage, and correct disposal.Maintain area well-stocked and request necessary laboratory supplies.Report patient safety issues and specimen deficiencies.Review and upkeep QC and maintenance logsStore and dispose of hazardous wastes using safety procedures.Implement the SOP protocols daily.Always wear personal protective equipment.Perform assigned responsibilities, duties, and tasks according to established practices, procedures, techniques, and standards in a safe manner with minimal supervision.

    The Position

    The General Accountant is responsible for performing core accounting functions and supporting the monthly close process under the supervision of the Accounting Supervisor. This role is primarily operational and analytical and does not include supervisory responsibilities.

    This position provides exposure to the full accounting cycle and opportunities for professional growth within the accounting function

    Responsibilities

    Prepare and post journal entries in accordance with GAAP and company policies.Maintain general ledger accounts and supporting documentation.Prepare and maintain balance sheet reconciliations.Support monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing activities.Identify and assist in investigating accounting discrepancies and variances under supervision.Perform and review bank reconciliations and other key account reconciliations.Review and process account for payable transactions for accuracy and proper coding.Assist in maintaining accounts receivable records and customer balances.Support follow-up on outstanding receivables as assigned.Assist in the preparation of internal financial reports.Support variance analysis by comparing actual results to prior periods.Prepare schedules and reports requested by management.Ensure transactions prepared are recorded in compliance with GAAP and company policies.Assist with internal and external audit requests by preparing schedules and documentation.Support internal controls by adhering to established accounting procedures.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve accounting issues and clarify financial and business transactions.Perform other related accounting duties as assigned.

    B.S. in Accounting/Finance.1-3 years’ experience in accounting or finance.Knowledge of GAAP and financial statements preparation.Intermediate in the use of Microsoft Excel (including VLOOKUP, pivot tables managing spreadsheets, creating charts and using basic formulas).Experience QuickBooks or related accounting software.Experience with Puerto Rico tax and regulatory requirements.     The Position

    Requirements and Skills

    Bachelor’s degree in biology Postgraduate in Medical Technology Licensed Medical Technologist ASCP Certified 0-7 years’ experience as a Certified Medical Technologist Standardized knowledge in the fields of clinical chemistry, hematology, Phlebotomy, immunology, Microbiology, and urinalysis Knowledge in complex techniques such as PCR and Andrology testing

    The Position

    Under direct supervision, the Histotechnologist 1 (HTL1) is responsible for tissue processing, embedding, microtomy, staining and equipment maintenance of received samples. The histotechnologist performs a variety of routine and specialized techniques and procedures. Enhances the efficiency and accuracy of lab testing by maintaining adequate laboratory supplies, by keeping equipment in operational condition and by maintaining a clean and orderly laboratory work area. Assists in the preparation of monthly statistical reports by keeping accurate records on all laboratory procedures performed.

    Responsibilities

    Process, embed, and section tissues.Perform routine, special stain and immunohistochemistry process.Perform daily preventive maintenance of all the equipment in your care area.File tissue blocks.Operate instruments within established guidelines.Perform appropriate troubleshooting to ensure adequate operations.Properly store and dispose chemical and biohazard material. Prepare tissue samples using correct procedures for preservation: processing, embedding, and cooling as appropriate per procedure. Section tissue samples using good microtomy techniques on various microtomes and cryostats to produce acceptable quality slides for staining according to procedures. Adequately use recycler to maximize output of recycled xylene and alcohol. Prioritize and manage workload to meet expected Turn-Around-Times (TATs). Maintain competence and add new skills as technology changes. Work output exceeds average output without sacrificing quality. Evaluate and solve problems related to collection and processing of specimens. Ability to complete work tasks with minimal supervision. Correctly record QC logs.Prepare, label and store chemical and stain stock solutions accurately according to procedures and needs.Accurately perform special stains and record Quality Control (QC) results. Evaluate routine and special stain quality for acceptability and results are communicated to the Supervisor prior to release to the ordering pathologist.     The Position

    The Sales & Digital Engagement Coordinator plays a dual role in supporting the administrative backbone of the sales process while helping to strengthen the organization’s digital presence. This position ensures that commercial activities are executed smoothly, ranging from CRM management and proposal generation to managing social media calendars, content coordination, and engagement tracking. The role reports to the Marketing Specialist with a dotted line to the Sales Manager, working closely with both the sales and marketing teams.

    Responsibilities

    Social Media & Digital Support (50%)

    Support creation and scheduling of content for LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook and other relevant platformsEngage with followers and respond to inquiries under brand guidelinesMaintain content calendars and coordinate with external marketing agencies, if applicableTrack social media engagement metrics and prepare monthly reportsMonitor competitor activity and share insights with the Commercialization team

    Sales Administration (50%)

    Manage and update CRM with lead and client dataGenerate quotes, proposals, and client-facing documentsTrack and report on sales KPIs, pipeline status, and conversion metricsCoordinate calendars, meeting agendas, and follow-ups for the sales teamAssist with onboarding of new clients, including document management

    Requirements:

    Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing or related field2–4 years of experience in sales support, digital marketing, or client servicesExperience in healthcare or tech commercialization is a plusFully Bilingual (English and Spanish) Experience managing CRM systemsExcellent organizational skills.Ability to work under strict deadlines.Microsoft Suite proficiency.Calendar management experience.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Strong problem-solving skills.
