    CORA is currently seeking a full-time Kitchen Coordinator to join our Early Years Program at our Huntington Mills location: 2137 E. Huntingdon St., Philadelphia, PA 19125.

    Minimum starting hourly pay: $15.50 (pay rate is commensurate with experience)

    In addition, as a Kitchen Coordinator your duties will include:

    Oversee daily compliance with CACFP approved food programSubmit attendance and POS records to food program by deadlinesPrep, heat, serve all meals and snacksComplete inventory and ordering for all food and beverageInstruct teachers on how to properly complete POSMake sure teachers have access to correct menus, amend menus as neededMaintain Servsafe certification, and acquire any additional certifications/trainings needed to maintain complianceParticipate in all center-wide training initiatives to maintain compliance with CORA and Keystone StarsConduct healthy eating and lifestyle lessons with students (weekly)Fill in classrooms as needed to support teachers with bathroom breaks, lunch breaks, preps, on field trips and in house experienced, lateness/absence, etc. to maintain ratiosPerform other duties as assigned by Director

    EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

    H.S. DiplomaServSafe Certification preferred

    EXPERIENCE/KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS:

    At least 2 years’ documentable experience working with childrenWorking knowledge of meal planning, preparation and kitchen operations in an institutional setting; basic knowledge of nutrition and dietary food preparation.Ability to operate commercial kitchen equipment.Knowledge of safety precautions common to the food service tradeKnowledge in regard to hygiene and sanitary precautions common to the food service trade.Ability to read and understand instructions and recipes.Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

    In addition, as a Truancy Case Manager your duties will include:

    Engaging clients (students), families and other relevant individuals in a collaborative relationship that will enhance the potential for the client’s completion of service with positive outcomes; caseload size will varyWorking collaboratively with families, schools and court representatives in the development and implementation of service plans to facilitate regular school attendance; providing advocacy services in community settings most conducive to achieving desired goals with clients, including but not limited to clients’ homes, schools, court, recreation centers and treatment facilitiesMaintaining awareness about the availability of community resources and facilitating client/family access to appropriate resources and services necessary to support and supplement service goalsCollecting/monitoring required school data and client satisfaction materials in the prescribed format; communicating with DHS and the Court and, within privacy rights protections, with school personnel and other service providers regarding service status and outcomes for RTC-involved students and families.Accompanying and assisting children and families through Truancy Court proceedings; preparing and submitting, in a timely manner, all court mandated documentation related to each client’s case, and statistical reports as requiredAdvocating with and for clients for access to appropriate level of care placementsAdhering to Agency and regulatory entity guidelines concerning caseload requirements, service delivery, accountability and confidentialityParticipating in required interdisciplinary functions and meetingsWorking productively and collaboratively with other members of the Truancy Case Management team and other CORA team membersCompleting other projects and assignments as directed

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

    Bachelor’s degree in social work, human services or related disciplineDemonstrated case management experienceKnowledge of substances of abuse and their effects preferredValid driver’s license required and driving record must meet CORA standardsOutstanding communication and interpersonal skills; ability to establish and maintain positive, productive working relationships internally and with external partners (e.g., court & school personnel, families, community partners, etc.)Ability to effectively manage assigned caseload variabilityProficient with Office 365 applications

    SCHEDULE:

    Mondays - Fridays (Flexible hours: between 8am - 6pm) specifically, 10-28 hours per week

    CORA's Community Service Division is currently hiring a full-time After School Site Director to work at St. Martin de Porres School, located at 2300 W. Lehigh Ave., Philadelphia, PA 19132.

    Summer SCHEDULE: Monday - Friday: 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.

    School year SCHEDULE: Monday - Friday: 10:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.

    Site Directors are expected to work every week of the year, with the exception of predetermined CORA Holidays or PTO requested days off.

    PAY RATE: Starting at $48,500

    YouthCOR Site Directors are expected to travel from CORA's Main Office (19111) to their program site daily.

Design high quality, fun and engaging programing in literacy, STEAM and social emotional learning.Create a safe environment for all staff and students though best practices in policies and procedures.     SITE DIRECTOR QUALIFICATIONS:

    Associates' degree with 30 credits in Early Childhood Education, Childhood Development, Special Education, Elementary Education, Social Work, Sociology, Psychology, Criminal Justice, or Human Services or a related field; orAssociates' degree in Early Childhood Education, Childhood Development, Special Education, Elementary Education, Social Work, Sociology, Psychology, Criminal Justice, or Human Services or a related field; orBachelor's degree from an accredited college or university including 30 credit hours in ECE, Child Development, Special Education, Elementary Education, Social Work, Sociology, Psychology, Criminal Justice, or Human Services or a related field.

    PHYSICAL EXPECTATIONS:

    Walk and stand for the duration for the shift (4 hours during school year, 8 hours during summer). Walk at a pace to stay with a group of children during field trips. (Length of walking varies for trip). Transition between sitting, standing and kneeling, as needed.Lift and carry 25 lbs.

    CORA's Community Service Division is currently hiring a full-time After School Site Director to work at Northwood Academy Charter School, located at 4621 Castor Ave, Philadelphia, PA 19124

    SCHEDULE: Monday through Friday: 10:00 a.m.- 6:00 p.m.

    Site Directors are expected to work every week of the year, with the exception of predetermined CORA Holidays or PTO requested days off.

    START DATE: As soon as possible

    LOCATION: Northwood Academy Charter School

    PAY RATE: Starting at $44,000

    YouthCOR Site Directors are expected to travel from CORA's Main Office (19111) to their program site daily.

    All CORA team members are expected to uphold the mission, vision and values of CORA Services which includes valuing all individuals and supporting each individual’s potential for growth.

    In addition, as a Site Director your duties will include:

    Build impactful relationships with children, youth and families. Engage students, families, and other community agencies to connect families to the program. Become a pillar in the school community by building and maintaining relationships with school administration, teachers, families and other stakeholders to ensure program visibility and community support.Complete administrative duties to ensure smooth program delivery. Design high quality, fun and engaging programing in literacy, STEAM and social emotional learning.Create a safe environment for all staff and students though best practices in policies and procedures. Grow and Supervise passionate leaders into role models and advocates for the youth in the program.
