    Short Description

    EXCITING NEW PRN RATE!

    Directs daily activities within the department.

    Facilitates employee orientation and training.

    Performs area specific QA/QC procedures.

    Performs radiographic procedures in accordance with the ALARA concept.

    Assists physicians with radiographic procedures.

    Performs various operations using radiographic and associated equipment.
    Assures maintenance of all radiographic and associated equipment.

    Maintains patient records via appropriate system.

    Performs patient care functions in a safe environment.

    Adheres to hospital and departmental policies and procedures.

    Substantiates status of good standing with state and national licensing/credentialing
    agencies by the submission of appropriate documentation.

    Interacts effectively with all customers.

    Assists staff and students in the performance of radiographic procedures and associated
    duties.

    Participates in the evaluation of staff and students as needed.

    Assists with the transportation of patients, maintains work area and performs basic clerical
    duties.


    Experience Required

    Certificate of completion/Degree from an Accredited Radiograph Program.

    Minimum of 3 years clinical experience; biennial completion of minimum required CE credits to maintain required certification/accreditation.


    Education Requirements

    HS diploma or equivalent


    License/Certification Requirements

    Must be licensed by the NJDEPE and credentialed in radiograph and mammography by the ARRT.

    Current ARRT - American Registry Radiology Tech License.

    Current NJ-RADTECH - NJ Radiology Tech License.

    CPR certification.

    Short Description

    Adheres to Departmental procedures, fulfills compliance with life, safety, fire and hazardous waste requirements, Radiation Safety, Infection Control requirements.

    Maintains Licensure, participates in C.E.U's. Performs Ultrasound procedures (Portables, E.R., General, and Vascular).

    Maintenance of equipment/supplies, maintains paperwork associated with job function.

    Maintains work area.

    Participates in clinical activities (i.e. assists with patient flow/care, performs various testing, assists provider etc.)

    Participates in clerical activities (i.e. registration, scheduling, filing, telephones, pulling/ preparing charts, faxing, Xerox forms/ charts, fills out forms.

    Participates in Departmental on-call requirements.


    Experience Required

    General, Vascular, portables, 1 year experience preferred.

    ARDMS eligible

    Associate Degree or Equivalent

    Graduate of an accredited Sonography school or program of Sonography


    License/Certification Requirements

    ARDMS Certification Requirements:
    Candidates must obtain ARDMS (American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers)certification within six months of their hire date.

    Eligibility for the six-month grace period:
    Applicants must have successfully completed the Sonography Principles and Instrumentation (SPI) exam. Documentation of a passing grade for the SPI exam is required as a prerequisite for approval of the six-month period to obtain the ARDMS certification.

    Expected to acquire RVT certification within12 months of their hire date.

    Departmental extensions on a case-by-case basis based on job performance.

    Expected training in elastography, thyroidectomies, pediatrics (echoencephalpgraphy, hips, spines), PVRs, TCDs, GYN exams, and all vascular exams (arterial and venous duplexes, dialysis grafts, extremity mappings, carotids, abdomen venous, etc)

    Short Description

    Assumes responsibility and accountability for a group of patients for a designated timeframe. Evaluates patients, implements, and documents nursing care. Assists physicians during examinations and procedures. Performs various patient tests and administers medications utilizing the nursing process. Promotes patients' independence by establishing patient care goals and teaching patients and families to understand conditions, medications, and self-care skills. Graduate of NLN accredited School of Nursing and current NJ-RN License required. Specific shift requirements apply.


    Experience Required

    The Registered Nurse (RN) is a professional caregiver who, as a member of a multidisciplinary health care team, assumes responsibility and accountability for a group of patients for a designated time frame and who supervises and provides care to these patients utilizing the nursing process including the therapeutic use of self.

Assists physicians on all therapeutic procedures; Assist with procedures per SGNA guideline. Participates in GI tech call rotation. Prepares, cleans, and maintains Endoscopy room and equipment. Sets up and cleans Endoscopy room.  Assists nurse with transferring and positioning patients. Is responsible for care, maintenance, and cleaning of all endoscopes and accessories as per ST: 91 Standard.  Is responsible for cleaning and maintenance of automatic endoscope reprocessor including hoses, adaptors, and disinfectant/high level disinfectant. Handles and safely stores all endoscopy equipment: Follows all manufacturers’ instruction for use when doing decon and using OER-Pro equipment.  Is responsible for safety checks of endoscopy equipment, sending endoscopes out for repair, and maintaining computer log book.
