Title: Senior Network Engineer
Duration: full-time
Location: Seaside, CA 93955 Clearance Requirement: Active Secret Clearance
Key Responsibilities
• Securely install, configure, monitor, and maintain enterprise network hardware and software including routers, switches, firewalls, IDS/IPS, COMSEC (TACLANE), EKMS, DNS appliances, wireless infrastructure, and load balancers (e.g., F5).
• Utilize tools such as SolarWinds, ClearPass, Palo Alto Firewalls, and AnyConnect for network monitoring and access management.
• Conduct disaster recovery operations and system backups as necessary.
• Implement robust network security measures and ensure compliance with DoD STIGs.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network performance issues.
• Provide full lifecycle support for enterprise network systems.
• Participate in an on-call rotation and provide support during weekends as needed.
Required Qualifications
• Minimum 10 years of hands-on network engineering experience in large enterprise or federal environments.
• Strong understanding of DoD security protocols and implementation guidelines (STIGs).
• Security+ certification (required).
• CCNA or CCNP preferred.
• Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to work independently and on-site daily in Seaside, CA.
Preferred Qualifications
• Associate's degree or higher in a relevant field (preferred but not required).
• Experience supporting COMSEC and EKMS systems.
• Familiarity with load balancing, wireless networking, and VPN technologies. Work Schedule
