We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist for our 2nd shift team. If you're a detail oriented machinist with a strong work ethic and experience setting up and operating CNC machines, this is your opportunity to join a stable company with a great benefit package!
What You'll Do:
• Set up and operate CNC lathes or machining centers
• Perform rough turning, boring, facing, and threading
• Read and interpret blue prints and engineering drawings and specs
• Set feeds, speeds, and select appropriate tools
• Inspect parts and ensure all quality standards are met
• Collaborate with team members and support continuous improvement
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
What You Bring:
• 2 + years of CNC machining experience
• Mazak or Mazatrol experience preferred
• Proven ability to set up and run machines independently
• Strong blueprint reading and interpretation skills
• High attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Reliable, self-motivated, and team-oriented

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Run and set-up machines Operate numerical, controlled lathes or machining centers to perform simple repetitive rough turning, boring, facing, and threading Read and interpret blue prints Selects tools and holders, installs appropriate fixtures or other holding devices and aligns and sets stops to complete set-up of machines Sets feeds and speeds in accordance with machinability of material and finish requirements as specified or directed Loads and unloads machine manually and checks product with appropriate measuring tools and gauges Observes machine to detect faulty operation Cleans, oils, and lubricates machine and makes minor adjustments and repairs as requiredRequired Skills/Abilities:
High school diploma or GED One to three years related experience Ability to read blueprints Gauging knowledge Mazak and Mazatrol preferred Basic math skills Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds Read Less
