About the Role
Join our Services team as a Valve Technician, where you'll play a critical role in servicing and repairing industrial valves and actuators both in-shop and on-site. You'll collaborate with customers, suppliers, account managers, and internal teams to deliver high-quality mechanical solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Inspect, repair, and test a wide range of valves: control, safety, relief, gate, globe, check, ball, butterfly, and plugService pneumatic, hydraulic, and electric actuatorsPerform full-cycle valve repair: pre-testing, disassembly, cleaning, machining, lapping, painting, assembly, and final inspectionCalibrate and test valves and related instrumentationDocument repair activities including failure analysis, parts used, and corrective actionsSet up and dismantle repair equipment at shop and field locationsProvide technical support and troubleshooting to customersFollow National Board VR/UV program guidelinesComply with site-specific safety protocolsMaintain a clean and organized work environmentParticipate in Safety and Quality programPhysical Requirements

What You’ll Do

Position Summary
The Shipping and Receiving Specialist is responsible for the efficient handling, processing, and tracking of all incoming and outgoing goods. This role ensures accurate inventory management, timely deliveries, and a safe, organized warehouse environment. The position works closely with internal teams and external carriers to support operational and customer service goals.
Key Responsibilities
Shipping & Order Fulfillment
Package, process, and ship all outbound orders in a timely and accurate mannerPull, pack, and verify orders, cross-checking items for accuracy prior to shipmentCoordinate shipments with carriers including UPS, FedEx, LTL providers, and couriersArrange inbound and outbound shipments as requiredMaintain adequate levels of packaging materials and shipping suppliesReceiving & Inventory Management
