    Control & Equipment Company is seeking to fill the role of Building Automation System Controls Technician. We are a great company with friendly people that work together as a wonderful team.     The primary duties/responsibilities of a BAS Controls Technician include:

    · Responsible for end-to-end testing, downloading programs, starting up, commissioning, and servicing on assigned projects.

    · Represents the company by serving as direct customer contact and responsible for servicing products and equipment on assigned projects, ensuring customer satisfaction by identifying, analyzing, diagnosing and repairing equipment and control systems at customer’s location.

    · Coordinates with team leader and customer to precisely understand requirements for all on-site installation and repairs by extensively examining building layouts, forecasting issues, gathering materials and synchronizing on-site work.

    · Keeps current on all products concerning installation, operation, maintenance, service, and repair of direct digital control systems.

    · Displays team effort and dedication to customers by maintaining flexibility to work overtime as the business requires, including occasional overnight stays.

    Minimum requirements:

    · 2 years tech school or 2 years temperature control system start-up, checkout, and service experience

    · Some knowledge of HVAC systems, control systems, building automation, electrical systems, energy management, fire alarm and smoke removal systems, engineering, installation, and construction procedures

    · Valid Texas driver’s license

    · Strong customer service skills

    · Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

    · Willingness to accept responsibility and accountability.

    · Ability to perform physical aspects such as climbing ladders, lifting 50 lbs. or more, crawling in spaces as required by a project.

    Position Summary

    We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented Inside Sales Representative to support our growing sales team. This role is responsible for preparing accurate quotations, communicating with manufacturers and vendors, assisting Account Managers, and providing exceptional customer service throughout the sales process.

    The ideal candidate enjoys solving problems, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and has the ability to interpret technical information while managing multiple priorities.

     

    Key Responsibilities

    Prepare accurate and timely customer quotations for building automation, HVAC controls, and related equipment.Review project plans, specifications, and bid documents to identify products and solutions.Work closely with Account Mangers to develop competitive proposals.Coordinate pricing, availability, and lead times with manufacturers and suppliers.Process customer inquiries and provide product recommendations.Follow up on quotations and maintain communication with customers throughout the sales cycle.Maintain accurate records in CRM system.Build strong relationships with customers through professionalism and responsiveness.Collaborate with engineering, operations, and service teams to ensure successful project execution.


    Qualifications

    Experience in inside sales, estimating, customer service, or quotation experience (industrial, HVAC, controls, electrical, mechanical, or construction industry preferred).Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.Excellent organizational and time-management skills.Ability to read and interpret technical specifications, drawings, or construction documents is a plus.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Experience with CRM software preferred.Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize multiple projects and deadlines.

    Qualifications

    Experience of outside sales or account management experience.Experience in commercial HVAC, building automation, controls, mechanical contracting, industrial sales, construction, or related technical industries preferred.Proven ability to develop and maintain long-term customer relationships.Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.Self-motivated with excellent time-management and organizational abilities.Comfortable managing multiple projects and priorities.Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM software.Valid driver's license with the ability to travel throughout the assigned territory.
