Duties and Responsibilities
Coordinate caregiver schedules to ensure all client shifts are covered with qualified staff.Match caregivers to clients based on care plans, availability, and client needs.Resolve scheduling conflicts, call-offs, and emergency staffing issues in a timely manner.Maintain accurate scheduling records, shift documentation, and caregiver timesheets.Communicate with clients, caregivers, Human Resources, and leadership regarding staffing needs and performance concerns.Assist with incoming office calls, administrative tasks, and operational reporting.Participate in an on-call rotation to address urgent staffing needs outside regular business hours.Support team meetings, professional development, and other office responsibilities as assigned.Qualifications & Skills
3+ year of experience in scheduling, staffing coordination, healthcare administration, or a similar role preferred.Familiarity with healthcare staffing practices and caregiver scheduling.Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build positive relationships with clients, families, and employees.Experience handling multi-line phone systems while effectively managing multiple priorities.Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail and the ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment.Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.Self-motivated with the ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.Comfortable learning new software and scheduling platforms.Reliable transportation required.Professional, dependable, and committed to delivering exceptional client service.
