Primary Purpose of Position
Responsible for day-to-day, plant level environmental compliance as Site Functional Area Manager (SFAM). Assures that the highest level of compliance is maintained with all applicable environmental rules and regulations and that station personnel are aware of all relevant environmental requirements. Responsible for daily environmental activities including regulatory inspections, reporting, filing reports, permit compliance and testing in all environmental programs including air pollution control, water pollution control, waste handling and disposal, spill planning and prevention, storage tank management and emergency planning and release reporting. Responsible for promoting environmental awareness and aiding plant management with assessing environmental risks. Works with Environmental Programs to review and implement permit and regulatory changes.
Primary Duties and Accountabilities
Manage and responsible for day-to-day environmental compliance for plant level environmental programs including waste management, water pollution control, spill plans and response, emergency planning and release reporting, tank management, and other applicable environmental requirements. Manage multiple tasks/priorities with conflicting priorities.Environmental record keeping and reporting including data review and analysis, report preparation, report filing, agency notification, permit application review and input to regulatory comments applying strong analytical skills.Alert site employees and management to environmental issues promote environmental awareness.Perform self-assessments, participate in corporate audits and lead regulatory site inspectionsManage contractors and environmental budgets.Participate in Environmental Management System (EMS) ISO 14001 certification, review and improvement activities.Report environmental metrics and corrective action implementation.Review and update the Management Model related to environmental compliance.Participate in Environmental Peer Group and implement best practices utilizing excellent interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills.All other job assignments and/or duties pursuant to company policy or as directed by management to include but not limited to: (Department duty coverage and/or call out, and positions outside of department in support of outage activities etc.)

Primary Purpose of Position
Under general supervision until qualifications are attained, the trainee provides radiation protection services in support of plant operations and maintenance, in accordance with applicable regulations and standards.
Primary Duties and Accountabilities
Under general supervision until qualifications are attainedConducts and evaluates radiation, airborne radioactivity and contamination surveys to determine the required radiation protection requirements and personnel stay time, and maintains required postings.Assists with monitoring personnel exposure to airborne radioactivity and radiation to maintain personnel exposure as low as reasonably achievable (ALARA).Prescribes the required protective clothing and devices for all individual entries into controlled areas of the siteEnsures that controlled area material is surveyed in accordance with approved procedures prior to unrestricted release.Assists with calibrations, repairs, and maintains equipment used to perform radiological surveys and respiratory test equipmentAssists with the preparation of radioactive material for disposal.Installs and certifies shielding, ventilation, and radiological containment devices at work site.Assists in the decontamination of personnel and equipment.Successfully completes 100/150 series fundamental training and attains qualifications to independently perform basic radiation protection tasks such as conducting and analyzing survey results, performing area and equipment decontamination, and controlling worker ingress and egress into radiological controlled areas.Successfully completes 200 and 250 series initial classroom training and 200 series hands-on task training and evaluation.Upon completion of 200 and 250 series training and until the applicable ANSI experience time requirement is met, performs 200 and 250 series tasks under general supervision of qualified radiation protection technicians.Perform emergency response duties as assigned.May be required to work overtime and shift work.Perform all other duties as assigned.

Primary Purpose of Position
Demonstrates mastery of skills and extensive subject matter knowledge in carrying out assignments associated with the analysis, design, development, implementation, evaluation, and proposed modification of plant specific nuclear licensed Operations training programs.
Primary Duties and Accountabilities
Drives the clean energy center (CEC) and personnel performance improvement through the use of training. Coordinates, and conducts performance-based operations Reactor Operator (RO)/Non-Licensed Operator (NLO) training programs as required by user community in accordance with Constellation's systematic approach to training model, department procedures, and with proper application of the analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation phases.Assures the training programs are maintained current and incorporate information gained from Institute of Nuclear Power Operations (INPO) Significant Operating Experience Reports and Constellation Nuclear Event Reports (NERs), Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) Bulletins and Information Notices, CEC design change and backfit information, CEC procedure changes and revisions, new regulations, and training effectiveness reports.Prepares trainee examination and conducts trainee evaluations for classroom, laboratory, OJT, and simulator environments, as appropriate and conducts counseling sessions for trainees, evaluates the results, and recommends/develops individualized training programs.Support CEC and fleet in the areas of business initiatives, project management, refuel outage support, emergency preparedness duties, and special projects.Participates in NRC, INPO and management audits, and prepares responses to audit findings.Maintains knowledge of plant operations, disciplinary skills and techniques, commensurate with the responsibility to develop and conduct effective, high-quality training.Supervises the collection and maintenance of auditable training records and reports required to document training program activities.Must achieve Senior Reactor Operator (SRO) certification within 18 months of assuming the position.Perform other job assignments and duties as directed by management or pursuant to company policy, including but not limited to emergency response, departmental coverage, call outs, and support of outage activities in positions outside the department.
