We are looking to add another Substitute Certified Early Childhood Special Education Teacher at our NW and SW Centers for the 2025/2026 school year. Must have a valid Nebraska Teaching/Substitute Certificate. Bachelor's Degree in Education with certification in Early Childhood Education, Special Education or Elementary Education is preferred. Substitute Teaching License is acceptable.This position is in our Omaha Public School's IEP classrooms at CRCC and follows OPS's calendar.
The individual must be located in the Omaha, NE metropolitan area as the position is in-person.

CRCC is a provider of Children's Day Health Services, which includes comprehensive day services including Pre-School programs, behavioral health, and rehabilitative therapy.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Responsible for implementation of the educational program, activities of daily living (ADL's), and personal cares of CRCC clients; Creates materials and lesson plan for implementation each day;Holds small group instruction to reach each child's learning level;Maintains an evidence based environment in an organized, safe, and clean manner following ECERS guidelines;Completes consistent and accurate assessment outcomes for all children;Captures documentation of growth, milestones, and activities through the online platform Tadpoles and documentation wall;Seeks professional development opportunities if/when required;Communicates consistently and accurately with families and staff using CRCC's online platform Tadpoles. Family Support Responsibilities

Is aware of each Day Health Service client's Plan of Care (POC) and assists client care needs including but not limited to personal cares, feeding, use of equipment, etc. Communicates with members of the care team to provide coordination of services between programs to meet the needs of all clients. Documents classroom activities, personal care aides, and all of client's Plan of Care (POC) through Tadpoles. Documents classroom and daily activities with pictures on Tadpoles regularly. Actively participates with clients and provides encouragement, assistance and guidance as needed. Assists teacher in implementing the routine of daily activities according to the educational curriculum and CRCC philosophy. Takes initiative with skillfully managing the classroom. Makes recommendations for educational materials, supplies and equipment as needed. Assists in maintaining a neat, safe, and attractive room (dishes, trash, floors, etc.). Willingly accepts teacher's guidance and assists teacher with preparatory work. Appropriately demonstrates and practices CRCC's disciplinary guidelines, while implementing individual client behavioral plans.
