    Our client is seeking a Systems Administrator II to support operational readiness by performing Point‑to‑Point (P2P) validations between SCADA/HMI displays and field devices such as RTUs and PLCs. This role ensures that signals, alarms, and controls are accurately represented across systems before assets are placed into service. The position requires strong attention to detail, consistent execution of repeatable workflows, and effective coordination with technical and field teams.

    Contract Duration: 18 months | W2


    Please Note: Candidates must currently live within a 20–60 minute commute of the worksite


    Responsibilities:

    Maintain consistency and accuracy while executing high‑volume, repeatable validation workflows.Provide feedback to support continuous improvement of validation processes and system configurations.Ensure all validation activities meet internal operational guidelines and applicable control room requirements.Document validation steps, results, discrepancies, and resolutions using approved checklists and tracking tools.Identify and escalate communication failures, configuration issues, or data mismatches discovered during testing.Verify that field inputs and control outputs are correctly mapped and behaving as expected within SCADA/HMI environments.Coordinate testing activities with operations, field personnel, and technical support teams to ensure proper timing and readiness.Perform P2P validations from SCADA displays through HMI systems to field devices, confirming signal integrity and functional accuracy.

    Qualifications (Must-Haves)

    Documentation Discipline: Proven ability to produce accurate, audit‑ready validation records.Attention to Detail: Ability to manage repetitive technical tasks with precision and consistency.Troubleshooting: Ability to diagnose discrepancies, communication issues, and configuration errors.Cross‑Functional Coordination: Experience working with operations, field teams, and technical support groups.SCADA & HMI Systems: Working knowledge of SCADA environments and HMI interfaces, including signal, alarm, and control behavior.P2P Validation/RTU‑PLC Testing: Hands‑on experience validating end‑to‑end signal paths between field devices and SCADA/HMI systems.

    Preferred Skills:
