What You'll DoAs our Admissions Director, you'll be responsible for driving occupancy, strengthening referral relationships, and ensuring every resident experiences a seamless transition into our facility.
Your responsibilities will include:
Develop and maintain referral partnerships with hospitals, physicians, case managers, discharge planners, assisted living communities, hospice agencies, and other healthcare professionals.
Serve as the primary point of contact for referrals, admissions, residents, and families.
Coordinate admissions from initial inquiry through move-in.
Conduct facility tours and educate prospective residents and families on the services we provide.
Develop and execute strategies to increase census and grow market share.
Track referral activity, admissions metrics, and occupancy goals.
Represent the facility at networking events, healthcare meetings, and community outreach activities.
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure timely admissions and an exceptional customer experience.
Maintain confidentiality and ensure compliance with all applicable healthcare regulations.
QualificationsHigh school diploma or GED required; college coursework in Healthcare Administration, Business, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field preferred.
Minimum of two (2) years of experience in Skilled Nursing, Long-Term Care, Healthcare Admissions, Marketing, Community Relations, Business Development, or Social Services.
Strong relationship-building and networking skills.
Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational abilities.
Proven ability to increase referrals and occupancy.
Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, managed care, and insurance processes is preferred.
Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop, implement, and oversee a monthly activities calendar that reflects residents’ interests, abilities, and needs
Conduct resident assessments to identify preferences, hobbies, and individualized activity goals
