Reporting to the Production Manager, you will lead a team of production associates to achieve daily safety, quality, cost, and delivery goals at the Oakdale, California manufacturing facility. You will coordinate people, materials, and equipment to maintain production schedules while identifying and resolving process inefficiencies. You will foster a safe, engaged, and team-oriented work environment that supports continuous improvement and strong business results.
A Taste of Your ResponsibilitiesLead production activities to ensure quality, productivity, and cost standards are consistently metSupport continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, cost reduction, and customer serviceIdentify production issues, constraints, or bottlenecks and take corrective action to minimize downtime and wasteCoordinate labor, materials, and equipment to maintain efficient production schedulesTrain, coach, and develop team members to ensure effective job performance and engagementEnforce plant policies, procedures, and work rules in a fair and consistent mannerEvaluate employee performance, provide ongoing feedback, and support performance improvement effortsSupport sanitation activities as needed to maintain a clean and food-safe work environmentPromote and support plant and company safety programs, including adherence to lockout and tagout procedures, personal protective equipment requirements, and confined space entry protocolsPartner with cross-functional teams to support operational and business objectivesIngredients Required for Your SuccessHigh school diploma or GED equivalent required. Bachelors' degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Engineering, Food Science, Agricultural Sciences, or other Natural Science degrees preferred. Other degrees will be considered.3 + years of supervisory or team leadership experienceUnderstanding of food manufacturing processes, production losses, equipment, and plant safety.Experience or working knowledge of Continuous Improvement preferredUnderstanding of Food Aseptic and Food Safety processes preferredUnderstanding of Fluid Flow including Fluid Flow in pressure and/or vacuum conditions preferredGeneral knowledge of SCADA and PLC functions preferredFlexibility to work weekends, rotating shifts, or alternative schedules as required, with increased workload during seasonal timesPay Range: $63,000-$93,000

An employee's actual annual salary will be based on but not limited to: location, relevant experience/level and skillset, while balancing internal Conagra employees' equity.
