    Position Summary: Comtech Systems, Inc. (CSI) is looking for an AWS Cloud Engineer / VMWare Engineer (Senior Level) to support one of our government clients in Columbia, MD.
    Responsibilities: Design, development, implementation, maintenance, management, and support of the system(s) used to support the performance work statement, ensuring systems are professional, consistent, user-friendly, intuitive, and encourage student use.Work with the SMEs and other stakeholders to identify, develop, integrate, and transition operational concepts and potential solutions through requirements definition, concept development, experimentation, analysis, and refinement.  Design, build, and deploy an integrated cloud architecture leveraging AWS services to support or enhance VMware infrastructure (e.g., design hybrid cloud solutions, use AWS to facilitate VMware migrations).Apply Infrastructure as Code (IaC) methodologies to automate tasks for testing and deployment using tools such as Terraform or AWS CloudFormation, thereby creating repeatable and scalable cloud environments.Develop solutions for VMware workloads to migrate on-premises VMware environments to AWS or enhance the experience of running VMware-based workloads on AWS.Perform testing and optimization routines to support efficient AWS infrastructure for VMware workloads.Design and implement software-defined networking solutions, including virtual switches and overlay networks.Implement cloud security best practices, such as Identity and Access Management (IAM) policies, encryption, and network security configurations, to ensure optimal protection of data and applications.Collaborate with development and operations teams to integrate cloud services with applications, ensuring smooth production environments. 
    Qualifications:  A minimum of five years’ experience in design, development, integration, and implementation of an integrated cyber training solution/system similar in scope and complexity to that identified in this contract. VMware-specific experience with products such as vSphere, ESXi, NSX, and potentially VCF (VMware Cloud Foundation) is essential.Experience developing and maintaining systems that require storage and protection of PII and other sensitive government data. Active Secret clearance or ability to obtain.
    Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited college or university in a field related to the scope of the contract.

(CSI) is looking for a Program Manager 2 to support one of our government clients in Annapolis Junction, MD. Responsibilities: Responsible for the successful cost, schedule, and performance of the contract.Serve as the main point of contact for the Contracting Officer (CO), the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR), the Government Program Manager, and the Contractor's senior management.Directly contribute to program efforts in several areas, including cost management/avoidance, schedule estimation and tracking, contract performance management, risk management, requirements analysis, and quality assurance activities.Ensures proper performance of tasks necessary to ensure the most efficient and effective execution of the contract.     Purpose:The Commonwealth of Massachusetts, through the State 911 Department, has awarded NextGen Communications, Inc. (“Comtech”) the contract (Contract # BD-23-1044-EPS90-1044E-84666) to maintain, monitor and operate the existing state-wide Next Generation 911 system in Massachusetts. Massachusetts has the largest NENA i3 end-to-end fully integrated NGCS, ESInet, logging and recording and hosted call handling system in the United States. It includes 211+ PSAPs, 800+ call handling positions, three geo-diverse data centers, a dual multi-protocol label switching (MPLS) backbone. The contract is five (5) years beginning August 1, 2024, with an option period of five (5) years totaling ten (10) years total. The contract requires a PSAP Customer Service Liaison to support the S911 customer, the PSAP Personnel and the Comtech team.
    Job Overview:The PSAP Customer Service Liaison is the interpreter between the first responder workforce and the operational team that supports the Next Generation 911 system and all its ever-evolving technologies. Employee shall reside in Massachusetts and be a customer advocate within the Comtech organization. Direct experience working within a PSAP (Massachusetts PSAP is preferred) as is some level of technical knowledge on NG911 services. This job will require 25%-50-% travel within the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Employee will need to provide their own vehicle and all mileage can be expensed to Comtech. Some duties may be required after standard business hours.
