    Job Description Overview

    Surgical Coordinator / Executive Administrative Assistant

    We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented Surgical Coordinator / Executive Administrative Assistant. The ideal candidate will have experience in Interventional Pain Management, Orthopedics, or Spine Surgery and will play a key role in coordinating surgical procedures while providing high-level administrative support to physicians and practice leadership.

    This position requires exceptional communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-volume medical office.

    Key Responsibilities

    Surgical Coordination

    · Serve as the primary liaison between the physician's office and ambulatory surgery centers (ASCs) to coordinate Interventional Pain Management procedures.

    · Schedule and confirm surgical procedures with physicians, surgery centers, patients, and ancillary providers.

    · Ensure all required medical records, authorizations, imaging, and supporting documentation are received before scheduled procedures.

    · Coordinate with the billing department to obtain prior authorizations for commercial insurance, workers' compensation, personal injury, and PIP claims.

    Executive Administrative Support

    · Provide administrative support to physicians and practice leadership.

    · Manage a high volume of phone calls, emails, and correspondence.

    Qualifications

    · Minimum of three years experience in Interventional Pain Management, Orthopedics, or Spine Surgery preferred.

    · Experience as a Surgical Coordinator, Medical Scheduler, or Executive Administrative Assistant in a healthcare setting preferred.

    · Knowledge of out-of-network (OON) insurance, workers' compensation, personal injury, and PIP authorization processes is highly preferred.

    · Strong understanding of medical terminology and insurance plans.

    · Excellent organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.

    · Ability to prioritize multiple tasks while maintaining accuracy in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

    · Outstanding interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.

    · Professional, personable, flexible, and patient-focused demeanor.

    · Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

    The position has a base pay plus bonus.

    Job Type: Full-time
