    The position of [Position Title] will have primary responsibility for providing excellent internal service and utilize organizational, and data entry skills to support both branch and accounting needs.

    Answer and direct phone calls and general emails in a timely manner. Welcome and direct visitors and clients.  Order and maintain inventory of office supplies and janitorial supplies for the Kent branch. Receive, send, distribute, and process FedEx and USPS mailing. Assist with administrating the Employee Appreciation program. Coordinate and distribute cards, candy, and calendar notifications for holidays. Send out employee acknowledgements and announcements as directed.  Create and distribute employee badges for all of OIS. Provide safety and compliance support. Provide administrative support to the Warehouse Billing and Accounting teams.  ALL OTHER DUTIES AND PROJECTS AS ASSIGNED.  

      

     

    Qualifications and Key Skills:

    High School diploma or GED is required. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook. Excellent organizational skills for prioritizing workloads and maintaining proper documentation.  Able to work in a high-pressure environment.

    The position of Clamp Driver will have primary responsibility for the material handling for servicing specific customer and internal order processing by performing the following duties and responsibilities. Handle large rolls of paper weighing between 2,000 lbs and 5,500 lbs., unload rail containers, and load trailers for outbound shipments

    •             Overall responsibility for material handling including receive/scan truckloads/railcars and put away in locations. Pick/Scan orders and Load materials to truckload/railcar.

    •             Maintain 100% inventory integrity. Accurately record and submit product locations. Record and submit location changes.

    •             Accurately follow all SOPs, documents, and procedures as required.

    •             Load trailers for outbound shipments according to load plans and customer requirements.

    •             Conduct daily pre-operation inspections of forklift equipment and report any mechanical issues.

    •             Assist in staging and organizing product for efficient loading and unloading.

    •             Maintain accurate records of product movement using handheld scanners or warehouse management systems.

    •             Perform routine housekeeping tasks to keep work areas clean and free of hazards.

    •             Support inventory control efforts by participating in cycle counts and physical inventories.

    •             Communicate effectively with warehouse supervisors and team members to coordinate tasks and resolve issues.

    •             Follow all OSHA and company safety guidelines, including proper PPE usage and safe driving practices.

    •             Identify and report damaged product or packaging and assist in rework or disposal as needed.

    •             Assist with wrapping, labeling, and preparing rolls for shipment when required.

    Summary / Primary Role:
    The Laborer will safely perform tasks related to preparing material for shipment or unloading. This may include metal
    product such as: Bars, Coils, Bar Rods, Sheets, Plates and other product form.

    Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Ensure safe working conditions and adherence to OSHA regulations in performance of all job functions.
    • Perform duties as assigned by Supervisor and Terminal Manager.
    • Secure and unsecure all metal material that the warehouse receives and ships out.
    • Using proper procedures block and brace metal products.
    • Use oil drum sprayer to oil bar stock materials as needed.
    • Cut inbound seal on container doors, using bolt cutters.
    • Cut all metal banding from inbound metals materials on the Load Roll Pallets (LRP’s) and remove carefully to
    avoid damage.
    • Dispose all metal banding in to designated dumpsters from ground level.
    • Loosen chains and nylon straps and remove from LRP’s and store supplies properly.
    • Remove any bulkheads and prepare for eastbound return.
    • Put all chains and binders in to the assigned LRPC (coil LRP).
    • Sweep out empty containers.
    • Notify supervisor of any incidents, accidents, damages, claims, mechanical or material issues immediately.
    • Keep warehouse floors and facility yard clean and safe at all times.
    • Wear all proper safety attire (steel –toed boots, gloves, long sleeved shirts and full length cotton pants, safety
    glasses and any other safety attire that is assigned by the floor supervisor) and ensure proper personal protective
    equipment is in good repair and worn in accordance with OSHA regulations and company policy.

    Knowledge:
    • Familiarity or experience with logistics, metal, transportation, intermodal, and warehousing industries preferred
    • Knowledge and ability to work with hand tools, chains, metal binders, and power saw to cut wood
