WE WILL TRAIN a newly licensed attorney with a strong interest in learning Tax Resolution
Job Summary:
This position requires a self-starter with the ability to think and work independently with a capacity for understanding financial concepts. You and your team represent taxpayers on resolution matters through negotiations with the IRS, and state taxing authorities. This includes but is not limited to submitting/negotiating IRS Offers in Compromise, Innocent Spouse requests, Penalty Abatement requests, Installment Agreements defense of seizure actions, Appeals, and more. It is challenging but rewarding work as we provide life changing results for our clients in a fast paced, high-volume environment.
NEWLY LICENSED ATTORNEYS interested in tax work are encouraged to apply. Previous Tax experience is NOT required. We provide comprehensive training in tax. Some working knowledge in state and federal tax law is a plus, but is not required.

The Phase One team team works in a structured, collaborative environment where attorneys focus on analysis, strategy, and execution—not high-volume client calls. This position is ideal for newly licensed or junior attorneys who enjoy research, analytical work, and drafting resolution strategies. Phase One Attorneys at Community Tax focus on reviewing IRS transcripts and case documentation, identifying compliance issues, and developing clear, well-supported tax resolution strategies.
