    CHMHA has a fantastic part-time opening for a Psychiatrist/Psychiatric ARNP.

    This role will provide psychiatric services in our agency through the prescribing and monitoring of medications, evaluation of psychiatric status, and consultation to non-medical team member.
    This is primarily a clinical position and incumbents will spend the majority of their time seeing patients, with the same productivity standards and same scheduling guidelines as physicians.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    Independently evaluate patients for the purpose of determining a differential, psychiatric diagnosis and biopsychosocial case formulation.Assess patients for psychiatric/psychotropic medication necessity.Prescribe the psychiatric or psychotropic medications, which are within his/her licensing purview.Coordinate with program manager in assigned programs to facilitate integration of medical issues with overall treatment planningScreen patients for concurrent non-psychiatric medical conditions and refer for appropriate care.Order all appropriate laboratory tests to determine a differential diagnosis and assure safe prescription of medications.Assess for medication side effects and treat when appropriate, following guidelines set by accepted professional standards and any other applicable standards of care.Consult with the treatment teams or other agency and non-agency providers on issues related to an individual patient's treatment and overall treatment planning. Liaison with primary care physicians and their staff.Attend and participate in medical staff meetings, as required.Obtain supervision, consultation or guidance by an agency psychiatrist or the medical director in cases as needed.Maintain clinical records in accordance with agency policy.Perform other functions, e.g. teaching, supervision of nursing staff and students, inter- and interagency committee responsibilities, as assigned. These responsibilities may include provision of group staff consultations without the presence of a staff psychiatrist.Understand recovery concepts in behavioral health.Apply recovery concepts, as appropriate to clinical work at CHMHA.Other duties as assigned

    This position will be within our Assisted Outpatient Treatment program which is a court ordered behavioral health treatment for individuals who cannot successfully engage in voluntary outpatient behavioral health services due to their behavioral health symptoms and have recently been in crisis resulting in hospitalizations and incarcerations. You will be providing intensive outreach-based wraparound services in addition to a therapeutic court model to assist clients in gaining the care and resources they need to be successful. This program will be part of the larger outpatient case management team. This is a new and exciting program which you will be on the ground floor of assisting in its development.

    Our Outpatient team has a fantastic opportunity for an AOT Case Manager.

    As a Clinical Case Manager, you will work as part of a team to provide outpatient mental health services and community support. You will be responsible for writing treatment plans and reviews in a collaborative format and work with clients to identify goals and methods for success. Our Case Managers work with
    a case load of adults with severe and persistent mental illness providing treatment based on client need that includes identifying and using community resources, liaison with other member treatment providers, referral to other appropriate community programs, and life skills training.

    SCHEDULE

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    Advocate for member needs which include but are not limited to medical appointments, welfare & vocational programs, and legal systemsProvide comprehensive therapeutic community support to an assigned caseload.Provide individual treatment sessions when appropriate to member needs and per prescribed treatment planningOutreach to member homes to assess living situation, stability, and provide treatment interventions when necessaryFacilitate assigned group therapy sessions and specialized member events i.e. field trip, Christmas party, etcAssist in discharge planning and written summaries of treatment as needed for member referral and releases of informationEvaluate treatment effectiveness with agency medical/clinical team for voluntary and involuntary clients including revision of all treatment documentation as required by the WAC and per supervision directionWrites and keeps progress notes per agency guidelinesAttend scheduled meetings and conferences, including at least two hours per week (per FTE) with Clinical Director and/or PsychiatristProvide immediate crisis intervention and resolution as neededVisually supervise medication distribution as necessaryMaintain member and staff confidentiality at all timesOther duties as assigned

    Within our Diversion Services is the Legal Intervention and Network of Care, better known as our LINC team.
    The Legal Intervention and Network of Care (LINC) Program is a prosecutorial diversion program that provides behavioral health treatment in lieu of prosecution for individuals with mental health and substance use conditions, who have been booked into jail for misdemeanors and low-level felonies and have a history of legal competency being raised. LINC serves adults with behavioral health conditions who have been referred by prosecutors who are willing to dismiss or not file charges if individuals agree to work with LINC. The program is short-term and is designed to connect individuals to long term mental health and/or substance use treatment and social services resources.

    Community House has a fantastic opportunity for a LINC Case Manager.

    Our LINC Case Manager will work as part of the LINC team to provide outpatient behavioral services and community support to their clients. This position is responsible for providing treatment and care coordination based on client needs and the treatment plan, progress notes, and collaborative reviews for the assigned caseload, as well as support to all clients served as part of the care team.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    QUALIFICATIONS

    Bachelors degree in social science or other related field, may consider candidates who have 2+ years of relevant experience serving adults with severe and persistent mental illness and/or in diversion services in lieu of degree. For FHARPS program, credentialing as a Certified Peer Counselor is acceptable and preferred.Apply for Agency Affiliated Counselor credential with Washington Department of Health within 30 days of hire, if not otherwise licensed, and obtain and maintain registration and/or licensure.     Within our Diversion Services program is theForensic Housing and Recovery through Peer Services, better known as ourFHARPSteam. FHARPS is a forensic housing program that complements our other (3) Diversion Programs OCRP, FPATH & LINC. They will work to house people involved in the legal system with the goal of reducing recidivism of people cycling in and out of incarceration, working especially with Trueblood class members. FHARPS works closely with Forensic Navigators who are officers of the King County Court system.


    Our Diversion Services here at CHMHA has a fantastic opening for an FHARPS Certified Peer Counselor.


    Our Certified Peer Counselor will serve as an advocate and provide peer support services to individuals in our community who have been deemed not competent to stand trial. This program works closely with the Health Care Authority as well as DSHS Forensic Navigators in regaining control over their own lives and over their own recovery process. The Certified Peer Counselor will model competency in recovery and ongoing coping skills.
