Position: Optometric Optician
Location: West Mifflin, PA
Type: Full-Time / Part-Time
Responsibilities:
Assist patients in selecting frames and lenses that fit their vision needs, lifestyle, and style preferences.Accurately measure, fit, and adjust eyewear.Provide education on lens options, coatings, and care.Process orders and ensure timely delivery of eyewear.Perform repairs and adjustments as needed.Support the optometric team with exceptional patient service.Maintain product knowledge of the latest frames, lenses, and technology.Have a knowledge base of contact lensesKnow how to read and apply insurance plans to ordersQualifications:
Previous experience as an optician or in optical salesStrong communication and customer service skills.Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.Preferred: familiarity with Technician work or willingness to cross train
